(Papakura) Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Papakura; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on the 25th day of October 1957, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

OWAKA RABBIT BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Owaka Rabbit Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of seventeen hundred pounds (£1,700) authorised to be raised by the Owaka Rabbit Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purchase of a staff house, the said Owaka Rabbit Board hereby makes a special rate of seven-eighths of one penny (⅞d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Owaka Rabbit Board comprising the Owaka Rabbit District, and that the rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

COUNTY OF WOODVILLE

MAKING OF SPECIAL RATE

Office Building Loan 1955, £10,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Woodville County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on part issue of loan of five thousand pounds (£5,000) the Woodville County Council hereby makes a special rate of ninety-one thousandths of a penny (91/1000d.) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Woodville, which special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be repayable half-yearly on the 1st day of December and the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan.

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on part issue of loan of four thousand pounds (£4,000) the Woodville County Council hereby makes a special rate of seventy-two thousandths of a penny (72/1000d.) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Woodville, which special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be repayable half-yearly on the 30th day of October and the 30th day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan.

MOUNT WELLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount Wellington Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £150,000 to be known as the Municipal Centre Loan 1957, £150,000, authorised to be raised by the Mount Wellington Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting municipal buildings incorporating community hall, Plunket rooms, Council chambers, shops, and public conveniences, the said Mount Wellington Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixth of a penny in the pound on the rateable capital value of all property in the Borough of Mount Wellington; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, for a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

HUTT RIVER BOARD

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, and in the matter of the River Boards Act 1908 and its amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Hutt River Board, a Board duly constituted under the River Boards Act 1908, proposes, by virtue of the above-mentioned Act and of all other Acts and powers it thereunder enabling, to execute a public work, to wit, river work for river protection purposes, and for the purpose of such public work the Board requires to take the land more particularly described in the Schedule hereto; and notice is further given that a plan of the said piece of land so required to be taken is deposited at the offices of the Board, Winslow Chambers, corner of High Street and Margaret Street, Lower Hutt, and is there open for inspection during ordinary office hours; and notice is hereby further given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said piece of land should, if they have any well grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said piece of land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within forty days from the date of the first publication of this notice to the Hutt River Board at its office situate as aforesaid.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land situate in the County of Hutt containing 16 acres 2 roods 7·9 perches, more or less, being part of Section 48 of the Hutt District and part of the land shown in a plan 2173 and part of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 177, folio 192, Wellington Registry, being the land shown coloured blue on Survey Office Plan No. 23912.
