TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Tauranga County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the portion of land described in the Schedule hereto.

A plan showing the portion of land proposed to be taken is available for public inspection at the office of the Tauranga County Council, Cameron Road, Tauranga, during forty (40) days from the date of the first publication of this notice. All persons affected by the taking of the land and having well grounded objections thereto are hereby called upon to set forth their obligations in writing and send the same to the office of the Tauranga County Council on or before the 19th day of November 1957.

APPLICATION FOR WATER RACE

TAKE notice that Leonard James Stuart, of Westport, contractor, has applied for a water race over an area of private land owned by George White, of Waimangaroa, situate in Block V, Kawatiri Survey District, commencing at a point 15 chains north of the north-east boundary peg of Section 7, Block V, Kawatiri Survey District, on the western bank of the Wareatea River, and extending 27 chains westerly. Eight-inch diameter pipes. One point of intake in Wareatea River. Four heads to be diverted. This application will be heard on Wednesday, 6 November 1957, at 9.30 a.m., at the Warden’s Court, Westport, at which place the application may be inspected. Objections must be filed and served on the applicant at least three days prior to the date of hearing.
