QUEENSTOWN BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Water Augmentation Loan 1956, £10,000 (Part £7,000)
THE Queenstown Borough Council, in pursuance and exercise
of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local
Authorities Loans Act 1956 and of all other powers (if any) it
thereunto enabling, hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
principal and interest and other charges on an issue of
£7,000 of the Queenstown Borough Council Water Augmentation-
tion Loan 1956 of £10,000 authorised to be raised by the
Queenstown Borough Council under the Local Authorities
Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of augmenting the borough
water supply and installing generating plant for both water
and sewerage pumps, hereby makes and levies a special rate
of decimal one one of a penny in the pound on the rateable
value on the basis of the capital value of all property within
the Borough of Queenstown; and that special rate shall be an
annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and
be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of twenty years, or until the loan is paid off."

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Motor Omnibus Loan 1957 of £100,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Dunedin
City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £100,000 authorised to be raised by the
Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of purchasing motor omnibuses, the said Dunedin
City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of
0·18337d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the
basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in
the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of
Dunedin; and that such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of ten (10) years,
or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on
23 September 1957.

MOUNT ALBERT BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Roading and Drainage Loans Redemption Loan 1957, £5,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Local
Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of every other power in that
behalf enabling it, the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby
resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest,
and other charges on a loan of £5,000 known as the Roading
and Drainage Loans Redemption Loan 1957 of £5,000 for
the purpose of redeeming at maturity outstanding balances
of the Roading Loan 1926 and the Drainage Loan 1926, the
Mount Albert Borough Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of decimal nought one three five (0·0135d.) of a
penny in the pound on the rateable value, on the basis of the
capital value, of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount
Albert; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring
rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable
yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of five
years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
Given under the common seal of the Mayor, Councillors,
and Citizens of the Borough of Mount Albert this 27th day of
September 1957.

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Richmond Loan 1955, of £101,000 (£10,000 Portion)
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Napier City
Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £10,000 (ten thousand pounds), authorised
to be raised by the Napier City Council under the above-
mentioned Act, for the purpose of developing the Maraenui
Block, and reconstructing Riverbend Road, the said Napier
City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal
nought four seven (0·047) of a penny in the pound upon the
rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all
rateable property within the City of Napier; and that such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and be payable on the 17th day of July
in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being
a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

EKETAHUNA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Workers' Dwelling Loan 1957, £8,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Eketahuna County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £8,000 (eight thousand pounds), authorised to be
raised by the Eketahuna County Council under the above-
mentioned Act, for the purchase of land and for the purchase
or erection of houses for staff, the said Eketahuna County
Council makes a special rate of one-sixth of a penny in the
pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the
whole of the County of Eketahuna; and that the special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the
loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in
each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a
period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Morningside Stormwater Drainage Loan 1957, £94,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Local
Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of every other power in that
behalf enabling it, the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby
resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest,
and other charges on a loan of £94,000 known as the Morning-
side Stormwater Drainage Loan 1957 of £94,000 for
the purpose of meeting the cost of extending stormwater
drainage in the Morningside area of the borough, the Mount
Albert Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of decimal nought seven two two (0·0722d.) of a penny
in the pound on the rateable value, on the basis of the
capital value, of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount
Albert; and that such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall
be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a
period of thirty years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Notification of Intention to Prepare District Planning Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Inglewood County
Council, at its meeting held on the 12th day of August 1957,
has resolved to prepare for the Inglewood County a district
scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country
Planning Act 1953.
Every person and every local authority in the district is
hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its
opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the pro-
posed scheme.
Proposals marked "Inglewood County District Scheme",
should be addressed to the County Clerk and delivered at his
office, Rata Street, Inglewood, on or before the 6th day of
December 1957.
