Crown Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as provisional State forest land.
SCHEDULE
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT—NELSON CONSERVANCY
SECTION 2, Block XI, Section 15, Block XIV, and Section 34, Block XV, Linkwater Survey District, Marlborough County:
Area, 640 acres, more or less. Shown bordered red on plan No. 104/48 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington. (S.O. Plan 4086.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 29th day of August 1957.

Crown Land Set Apart for Railway Purposes at Hornby

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of September 1957.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the Canterbury Land District containing 34·3 perches, situated in Block IX, Christchurch Survey District, and being Lot 1, D.P. 18249, being part Sections 17 and 18, Hei Hei Settlement. Formerly part certificate of title, Volume 598, folio 40, Canterbury Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 30th day of August 1957.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of September 1957.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 48 acres and 26 perches.
Being parts Reserve 3550, situated in Blocks IV and VIII, Kowai Survey District, Tawera County. (S.O. 9067.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 14925, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 27th day of August 1957.

Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Road at Woodside

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a road, and that the said road shall be under the control of the Featherston County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 12992 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
