Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes as from the 31st day of July 1957 the Order in Council of the 8th day of October 1952, published in the Gazette, 16 October 1952, No. 66, page 1709, licensing Athelstan Sydney Rowling to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Kaiteriteri Beach, Nelson, as shown on plan marked M.D. 9426 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a boatshed thereon.

Authorising the Investment of £5,200 of the Wellington Harbour Board Funds

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Wellington Harbour Board to invest the sum of £5,200 from its Employers Liability Fund in debentures of the Tawa Flat Borough Council, Porirua Stream Improvements Loan 1956, of £5,200, to bear interest at the rate of 4½ per cent, for a period of ten years from the 1st day of October 1957.

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Validating Proceedings in Connection with the Matamata County Council's Loan of £10,000

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
Whereas the Matamata County Council proceeded by way of special order to raise a loan of £10,000 known as the Tokorora Fire Station Loan 1957 (hereinafter called the said loan):
And whereas the proceedings in connection with the said loan were irregular or defective in that there was an interval of less than fourteen days between the two notifications required by paragraph (c) of section 87 of the Counties Act 1956:
And whereas it appears that the ratepayers of the district have not been misled by such irregularity or defect as aforesaid and it is expedient to validate the same:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 130 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the proceedings in connection with the said loan shall be valid to all intents and purposes as though an interval of not less than fourteen days had elapsed between the two notifications, and hereby further orders and declares that the validity of the proceedings in connection with the said loan or of the security for such loan shall not be questioned by reason only of the irregularity or defect aforesaid.

Authorising John Frederick Collins, of Porangahau, Farmer, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Dannevirke

At the Government House at Wellington this 7th day of August 1957
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises John Frederick Collins, of Porangahau, farmer (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.

CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS

  1. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions thereof.

LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
2. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electric Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.

SYSTEMS OF SUPPLY
3. The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (d) and (e) of regulation 21–01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.

DURATION OF LICENCE
4. Unless sooner lawfully determined this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1962.

SCHEDULE
Lines for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the Central Hawke's Bay Electric Power Board line, situated on the north-western boundary of the County of Patangata adjacent to the Te Uri Road and proceeding to the premises of the licensee in Section 3, Block VIII, Mangatoro Survey District, in the County of Dannevirke. The said lines being more particularly shown by means of red lines on the plan marked S.H.D. 451 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.
