Land Taken for Road in the Borough of Ellerslie and the Borough of Mount Wellington

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day of July 1957.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by William Sutherland Lawrence McRae, of Little River, shepherd, under and by virtue of Crown lease, Volume 521, folio 100, Canterbury Land Registry, is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day of July 1957.

ALL that piece of land in the Canterbury Land District containing 23·4 perches, situated in Block I, Akaroa Survey District, Canterbury R.D., being part Rural Section 37572; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 153885 (S.O. 9135) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of Road in Block IX, Cape Campbell Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for the Picton-Hurunui Railway and is not now required for that purpose) shall, upon publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the National Roads Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the Marlborough Land District containing 3 acres 3 roods 8·8 perches, situated in Block IX, Cape Campbell Survey District, being part Railway land in Proclamation No. 175, Marlborough Land Registry, as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 153242 (S.O. 4262) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
