Leasehold Interest in Land Taken for the Purposes of a Surfaceman’s Cottage in Block VIA, Opoiti Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold interest in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Arthur Raymond Kent, of Wairoa, under and by virtue of renewable lease recorded in the Register book, Volume 101, folio 25, Gisborne Land Registry, is hereby taken for the purposes of a surfaceman’s cottage; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day of July 1957.

ALL that piece of land in the Gisborne Land District containing 2 roods 22·1 perches, situated in Block VIA, Opoiti Survey District, Gisborne R.D., and being part Section 5; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 153865 (S.O. 4987) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 35 of the Finance Act (No. 2) 1945, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for abattoir purposes, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Greymouth as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day of July 1957.
