THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby amends, as from the 31st
day of March 1957, the Order in Council of the 31st day of
January 1956, published in the Gazette, 16 February 1956,
No. 8, page 188, licensing the Manapouri -Doubtful Sound
Tourist Co. Ltd. to use and occupy a part of the foreshore
and land below low-water mark at Deep Cove, Doubtful
Sound, as a site for a jetty, by omitting from clause 3 in the
Schedule the words and figures "ten pounds (£10)", and
substituting the words and figures "five pounds (£5)".

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby amends, as from the 31st
day of March 1957, the Order in Council of the 31st day of
January 1956, published in the Gazette, 16 February 1956,
No. 8, page 189, licensing the Manapouri-Doubtful Sound
Tourist Co. Ltd. to use and occupy a part of the bed of the
lake in the West Arm, Lake Manapouri, as a site for a
jetty, by omitting from clause 3 in the Schedule the words
and figures "ten pounds (£10)", and substituting the words
and figures "five pounds (£5)".

PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act
1954, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
authorises the Timaru City Council to lay off the proposed
street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for parts of
its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 40 ft.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the Canterbury Land District, City of
Timaru, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 4·3 perches,
more or less, being part Lot 32, D.P. 3110, Lots 1, 2, 3, 5, 6,
and part Lot 4, D.P. 9881, partsLots 8 and 9, D.P. 9881, and
parts Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 6273, being part Rural Section 2345.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 153322 deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders
and declares that the portion of road described in the
Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in
Council, become county road.
SCHEDULE
ALL that portion of road in the South Auckland Land Dis-
trict, situated in Block II, Ngongotaha Survey District, Rotorua
County, commencing at the north-western corner of Section
48 of the said Block II, and proceeding thence in a south-
westerly and north-westerly direction generally for a distance
of approximately 200 chains and terminating at the
south-eastern corner of Section 38 of the said Block II.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 153339 (S.O. 36842) deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
red and marked A-B.

Constituting the East Taupo Rabbit District (Notice

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the
Governor-General, at the request of the Minister of Agricul-
ture made on the recommendation of the Rabbit Destruction
Council, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council, hereby constitutes and declares the area of
land, the boundaries of which are described in the Schedule
hereto, being an area to which subsection (1) of section 14
of the Rabbits Act 1955 applies, a rabbit district, and appoints
that the name of the said rabbit district shall be the East
Taupo Rabbit District, and orders that the basis on which the
rabbit board to be established for the said district shall first
levy its general rate shall be the acreage of the land occupied
by the ratepayer.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE EAST TAUPO RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area of approximately 807,250 acres in the South
Auckland, Wellington, and Hawke's Bay Land Districts, in the
Taupo, Whakatane, and Rotorua Counties, bounded by a line
commencing at a point in Block VI, Puketi Survey District, in
the middle of the mouth of the Tongariro River where it
enters Lake Taupo, and running north-easterly generally along
the shores of that lake, to and along the southern boundary of
the Borough of Taupo as described in Gazette, No. 51, of the
10th day of September 1953, page 1476, to and south-easterly
along the northern side of the Taupo-Napier State Highway,
to the south-eastern boundary of Section 4, Block XII, Tauhara
Survey District; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern
and eastern boundaries of that Section 4, the south-eastern
and north-eastern boundaries of part Tauhara Middle No. 4A 2
Block, and the generally south-eastern boundaries of Lots 43,
44, 46, 42, 49, 39, and 27, D.P. 29249, the aforesaid lots all
being parts of Kaingaroa No. 2 West Nos. 2 and 1 Blocks, to
and along the boundary of the Taupo County as described in
Gazette, No. 15, of the 16th day of March 1950, page 276, to
and along the southern boundary of part Paeroa East No. 3A
Block, the southern and eastern boundaries of Paeroa East
No. 3c Block, the eastern boundary of part Paeroa East No. 3A
Block aforesaid, and the eastern and northern boundaries of
part Paeroa East No. 4A Block, to and along the boundary of
the Taupo County aforementioned and along the eastern boun-
daries of Sections 77s and 76s, Reporoa Settlement, to the
southern boundary of part Paeroa East No. 4B 1A Block
(State forest, Gazette, 1929, page 231); thence westerly along
that last-mentioned boundary and the southern and western
boundaries of part Paeroa East No. 4B 1B 1 Block (State forest,
Gazette, 1929, page 231), and continuing in a generally
northerly direction along the south-western boundary of part
Paeroa East No. 4B 1A Block aforesaid, the south-western
and northern boundaries of part Section 5, Block VII, Paeroa
Survey District (State forest by section 6, Reserves and Other
Lands Disposal Act 1926), to a point in line with the south-
western boundary of Section 12 of the aforesaid Block VII;
thence along a right line to and along that south-western
boundary, the southern and western boundaries of part of the
aforesaid Section 5 (State forest by section 15 of the Reserves
and Other Lands Disposal Act 1934), the generally eastern
boundaries of Section 8 of that last-mentioned Block VII,
up the left bank of the Waiotapu Stream, to and along the
northern side of the public road forming the north-eastern
boundary of Section 7, Block VII aforesaid, to and along the
northern boundary of Section 9 of that Block VII and the
north-eastern side of the road forming the north-eastern
boundary of Section 6, Block VII aforementioned, to and
along the western boundary of part Paeroa East No. 1A West
Block (State forest, Gazette, 1929, page 231, aforesaid), to and
along the western side of the Rotorua-Waikaremoana State
Highway, to the south-western boundary of part Rotomahana
Parekarangi No. 6P 2B Block; thence generally easterly along
the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of that part
No. 6P 2B Block, along the southern boundary of Section 8,
Block XV, Tarawera Survey District, along the western and
south-western boundaries of Rotomahana Parekarangi No.
5B 5A Block and the south-western boundaries of Rotomahana
