A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
All that piece of road in the South Auckland Land District containing 15 acres 2 roods 38 perches, situated in Block VII, Paeroa Survey District, Auckland R.D., and adjoining or passing through Section 2, Block VII, Paeroa Survey District and part Paeroa East No. 1A West Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 153288 (S.O. 38116) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Amending Declaration of Land, Southland Acclimatisation District, as a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Warrant published in Gazette, 6 April 1933, Volume I, page 608, notifying and declaring an area of land to be a sanctuary under the Animals Protection and Game Act 1921–22, and hereby proclaim and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of the Wildlife Act 1953.
SCHEDULE
All that area containing 345 acres, more or less, being that strip of land within 10 chains of either side of McCallum Creek and passing through Sections 16–18 and 26–31, Block IX, Oteramika Hundred.
As shown on plan marked I.A. 52/395 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 30th day of April 1957.

SCHEDULE
All that area containing 247 acres, more or less, and bounded as follows: Towards the south by a line running due west from the southernmost corner of Section 8, Block XIX, New River Hundred; towards the south-west by the left bank of the Waimatuku Stream; towards the north-west by the south-eastern side of a public road through Run 424; and towards the north-east by the northern side of another public road forming the south-western boundaries of Part Section 3A and Sections 3R, 9, 4A, and 8, all of Block XIX, aforesaid.
As shown on plan marked I.A. 52/127 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 30th day of April 1957.
