Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of a Portion of the Edgecumbe-Murupara Railway

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Proclamation dated 21 April 1951, published in Gazette, 26 April 1951, Volume I, page 572, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland as No. S. 15809, which Proclamation defines the middle line of a portion of the Edgecumbe-Murupara Railway, is hereby revoked in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

All that piece of land in the South Auckland Land District containing 126 acres and 36 3/4 perches, situated in Block VI, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District, being Lot 2, D.P. 23765, being part Allotment 155, Parish of Matata. All certificate of title, Volume 678, folio 104, Auckland Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 21st day of March 1957.

Declaring Land Vested in the Crown to be Free From Samoan Title

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS it is enacted by section 282 of the Samoa Act 1921 that a Proclamation by the Governor-General that any land vested in the Crown is free from Samoan title shall in all Courts and in all proceedings be accepted as conclusive proof of the fact so proclaimed:

And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is land vested in Her Majesty in right of the Government of Western Samoa by virtue of a conveyance dated the 18th day of February 1957 from Leniu Vaimasele and Fuamatu Tuaoloa of Lauli'i in the Territory of Western Samoa.

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 282 of the Samoa Act 1921, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim that the said land is free from Samoan title.

SCHEDULE

All that piece or parcel of land containing an area of 1 acre 2 roods 32 1/2 perches, more or less, situated at Lauli'i in the district of Tuamasaga, known as Le'oso'aga, described as parcel 266, Flur XII, Upolu, and more particularly delineated on plan 62U/XIIS deposited at the office of the Chief Surveyor at Apia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 22nd day of March 1957.

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

SCHEDULE

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT-WESTLAND CONSERVANCY

All that area in Grey County, containing 46 acres 1 rood, more or less, and being Reserve 2005 (formerly part of Rural Section 2351), situated in Block XIII, Hohonu Survey District. As shown on plan No. 126/79 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plan 4763.)

All that area in Waimarino County, containing 1 acre, more or less, and being Section 3, Block X, Karioi Survey District. As shown on plan No. 71/34 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plan 15624.)
