Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed, and Land Taken in Block XIII, Maraekakaho Survey District, Waipawa County

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto; and I also hereby take the land described in the Third Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29.

FIRST SCHEDULE

LAND PROCLAIMED AS ROAD

ALL those pieces of land in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, situated in Block XIII, Maraekakaho Survey District, Hawke’s Bay R.D., described as follows:

Being:

0 1 0.7 Part Lot 1, D.P. 6180, part Block I, Gwavas Crown Grant District; coloured sepia on plan.
0 1 7.4 Part Section 45; coloured orange on plan.
0 2 19.8 Part Block I, Gwavas Crown Grant District; coloured blue on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 152821 (S.O. 2844) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

SECOND SCHEDULE

ROAD CLOSED

ALL that piece of road in the Hawke’s Bay Land District containing 2 roods 31 perches, situated in Block XIII, Maraekakaho Survey District, Hawke’s Bay R.D., and adjoining Section 45 and part Block I, Gwavas Crown Grant District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 152821 (S.O. 2844) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

THIRD SCHEDULE

LAND TAKEN

ALL that piece of land in the Hawke’s Bay Land District containing 0.7 perch, situated in Block XIII, Maraekakaho Survey District, Hawke’s Bay R.D., being part Block I, Gwavas Crown Grant District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 152821 (S.O. 2844) and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 21st day of March 1957.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of road in the Otago Land District containing 5 acres and 34 perches, situated in Block VII, Swinburn Survey District, Otago R.D., and adjoining D.P. 6594, being part Section 16; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 152942 (S.O. 12182) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

PURSUANT to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be road.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land in the North Auckland Land District containing 3 acres 1 rood 2 perches, situated in Block IV, Ahipara Survey District, Auckland R.D., and being part Ahipara 1B Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 152941 (S.O. 39307) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of a Portion of the Wellington-Foxton Motorway

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 24th day of November 1950, and published in Gazette, 30 November 1950, Volume III, page 2032, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 4272, defining the middle line of a portion of the Wellington-Foxton Motorway, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of road in the South Auckland Land District containing 1 acre 3 roods 18 perches, situated in Block X, Otanake Survey District, Auckland R.D., and adjoining or passing through Sections 15 and 16 and part Section 1; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 152665 (S.O. 37900) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 26th day of March 1957.

ALL that piece of land in the Wellington Land District containing 1 rood 8.98 perches, situated in the City of Wellington, being part Section 12, Porirua Registration District, being Lots 6 and 7, D.P. 12218. All certificate of title, Volume 499, folio 277, Wellington Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 26th day of March 1957.
