Land Taken for Better Utilisation in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for better utilisation; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 1st day of April 1957.

SCHEDULE

All that piece of land in the Wellington Land District containing 26 56 perches, situated in the City of Wellington, Wellington R.D., being part Section 10, Porirua District, and part of a closed road, being also Lot 6, D.P. 11059. All certificate of title, Volume 476, folio 38, Wellington Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 26th day of March 1957.

All that piece of land in the Wellington Land District containing 36 54 perches, situated in Block XI, Paekakariki Survey District, being Lot 59, D.P. 11522, being part Subdivision IF Kahutea Block. All certificate of title, Volume 496, folio 183, Wellington Land Registry.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject as to Lots 6 to 9, and 13 to 22 (all inclusive), D.P. 19066, to the building-line restriction imposed by notice No. 449123, Canterbury Land Registry, for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 1st day of April 1957.

SCHEDULE

All that piece of land in the Canterbury Land District containing 6 acres 1 rood 28.1 perches, situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District, being Lots 1 to 3, and 6 to 33 (all inclusive), D.P. 19066, being part Rural Section 149. PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a quarry, and shall vest in the Manawatu Catchment Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 1st day of April 1957.

SCHEDULE

All that piece of land in the Hawke's Bay Land District containing 10 acres 1 rood 8.9 perches, situated in Block XIV, Woodville Survey District, Hawke's Bay R.D., being part Section 1; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 152988 (S.O. 2885) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, held by George Vernon Thompson, of Napier, contractor, under and by virtue of deferred payment licence, H.B. Volume 139, folio 82, Hawke's Bay Land Registry, is hereby taken, subject to an easement in gross, granting to the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Napier rights in respect of sewerage over the land shown coloured yellow on D.P. 8861, for police purposes (residence); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 1st day of April 1957.

SCHEDULE

All that piece of land in the Hawke's Bay Land District containing 35.1 perches, situated in the City of Napier, Hawke's Bay R.D., and being Lot 505, D.P. 8861, part Te Whare-o-Maraenui Block. All deferred payment licence, H.B. Volume 139, folio 82.
