WAIPUKURAU BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN TUTANEKAI STREET,
WAIPUKURAU
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.
Notice is hereby given that the Waipukurau Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a public road, and for the purpose of such public work the land required in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk at the Waipukurau Borough Council Chambers in Northumberland Street, Waipukurau, and it is there open for public inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Waipukurau.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land situate in Tutnekai Street, in the Borough of Waipukurau, containing thirty-nine decimal six perches (39:6 ps.), more or less, being Lot 4 on Deeds Plan 328, and being also part Block 16, Waipukurau Crown Grant District, and the whole of the land comprised in and described by certificate of title, H.B. Volume 144, folio 106 (Hawke's Bay Registry), as the said piece of land is more particularly delineated and coloured blue on the above-mentioned plan deposited at the public office of the Town Clerk at the Wai-pukurau Borough Council Chambers.

MARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Marton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £16,500, described as the Water Supply Supplementary Loan 1956, authorised to be raised by the Mar-ton Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the Water Supply Improvement in the Borough of Marton, the said Marton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0:43 pence in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Marton; that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable in yearly instalments on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being for a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Marton Borough Council on the 12th day of February 1957.

MACKENZIE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Fairlie Fire Brigade Loan, £2,500
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Mackenzie County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,500 authorised to be raised by Mac-kenzie County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a new fire engine for the Fairlie Fire Brigade, the said Mackenzie County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0:161 pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the special Fairlie Fire District Rating Area of the Mackenzie County; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly, the first instalment to be paid not later than six months after the date of the payment of the first instalment of the loan to the said Council and thereafter in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Mackenzie County Council at a meeting of the said Council held on the 1st day of February 1957.

MACKENZIE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan 1956, £5,000
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Mackenzie County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £5,000 authorised to be raised by Mac-kenzie County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers for housing on farms, the said Mackenzie County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·01844 pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole County of Mac-kenzie; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly, the first instalment to be paid not later than six months after the date of the payment of the first instalment of the loan by the Corporation to the said Council and thereafter in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Mackenzie County Council at a meeting of the said Council held on the 1st day of February 1957.

Heathcote County Council

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
“That a rate of 56/64 of a penny in the pound on rateable capital value on all property in the special rating area be struck to secure the interest and capital charges on the Horo-tane Valley Water Supply Loan 1953 of £4,100.”
We, Frederick Willie Freeman, Chairman, and Robert William Morris, County Clerk, hereby certify that the fore-going is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Heathcote County Council on 1 August 1956 and confirmed on 31 August 1956.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
“That a rate of 27/64 of a penny in the pound on rateable capital value on all property in the special rating area be struck to secure the interest and capital charges on the Heathcote Valley Water Supply Loan 1953 of £8,400.”

RAUPO DRAINAGE BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
In pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Raupo Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £3,000, authorised to be raised by the Raupo Drainage Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a staff house, the said Raupo Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one fifth of a penny in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Board’s area; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
