NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up
of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on
the 6th day of March 1957, presented to the said Court by
W. H. Jones and Co. (London) Ltd., of Tower House, 17
Oakleigh Park North, Whetstone, London, England, and that
the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court
sitting at Wellington on the 27th day of March 1957, at
10 o'clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory
of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making
of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of
hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a
copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to
any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring
a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

(1) To consider a resolution of the shareholders that, by
reason of its trading assets having been sold and its present
liabilities, the company is unable to continue and that it be
wound up.

(2) To consider the appointment of a liquidator pursuant to
the foregoing resolution.

LOST STOCK CERTIFICATE

APPLICATION has been made to the above company to issue a
new certificate of title in lieu of original certificate No. 22877
issued in the name of Frances Anne Clervaux Chaytor, of
Pelling Place, Havelock North, and the said Francis Anne
Clervaux Chaytor has made a statutory declaration that the
original certificate of title to the said stock has been lost.

Notice is hereby given that, unless within thirty days from
the date hereof there is made to the company some claim or
representation in respect of the said original certificate, a new
certificate will be issued in place thereof.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD AND LAND
FOR RECREATION GROUND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and amendments, and the Counties Act 1920 and amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitemata County Council
proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts
to execute certain works, viz., the construction and formation
of a public road passing through or adjoining the several
parcels of land referred to in Schedule No. 1 hereunder, and
the construction and formation of a recreation ground pass-
ing through or adjoining the parcel of land referred to in
Schedule No. 2 hereunder, and situated in the Waitakere
Riding of the County of Waitemata, and for the purposes of
such public works the lands described in the Schedules here-
under are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further
given that plans of the land so required to be taken are
deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council,
situated at the Council Chambers, 199 Karangahape Road,
Auckland, and are open for inspection without fee by all
persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public
works or by the taking of the said lands must state their
objection in writing and send the same within forty (40)
days from the date of the first publication of this notice to
the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland City Council pro-
poses, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to
execute a certain public work, namely, re-subdivision and
improvement within the Freeman's Bay Reclamation Area,
under Part II of the Housing Improvement Act 1945, and for
the purpose of such public work the land described in the
Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby
further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken
is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk at the
Town Hall, Auckland, and it is open for public inspection
without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of such land who have well grounded
objections to the execution of the said public work or to
the taking of the said land must state their objections in
writing and send the same within forty days from the first
publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Town Hall, Auck-
land.
