of J. Byers and Son Ltd.
Notice is hereby given that the following resolution was
passed as an extraordinary resolution of shareholders by way
of entry in the minute book and dated the 12th day of March
1957.
"That, as the company cannot by reason of its liabilities
continue its business, the company be wound up voluntarily
and that Richard Innes Gilberd, of Wanganui, public account-
ant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purposes
of the winding up."
Also take notice that there will be a meeting of the creditors
of the above-mentioned company in the office of the liquidator,
23 Wicksteed Place, Wanganui, on Friday, 22 March 1957, at
11 a.m. At which meeting a full statement of the position of
the company's affairs, together with a list of the creditors and
the estimated amount of their claims, will be laid before the
meeting, and at which the creditors will be asked to confirm
the appointment of the liquidator or, in pursuance of section
285 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be liquidator of
the company and in pursuance of section 286 of the said Act
may appoint a committee of inspection.

hereby given that a general meeting of the company is to be
held at 152 Hereford Street, Christchurch, on Thursday, 28
March 1957, at 9 a.m., for the purpose of receiving the
liquidator's final statement of account, showing how the pro-
perty of the company has been disposed of, and giving any

Notice is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of
the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on
Monday, the 11th day of March 1957, presented to the said
Court by Edgar Maxwell Rapsey Husband, of Willowmere,
R.D. 3, Ashburton, farmer, and that the said petition is
directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Christchurch
on Tuesday, the 26th day of March 1957, at 10 o'clock in
the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said
company desirous to support or oppose the making of an
Order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing
in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy
of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contri-
butory of the said company requiring the same by the
undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the
same.
