SECOND SCHEDULE
HYDRO-ELECTRIC GENERATING WORKS
(a) Headworks consisting of a weir and intake situated in the said stream at a point approximately 7 chains upstream from the Wairua Falls giving a static head of approximately 130ft;
(b) A canal leading from the intake aforesaid in a south-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 59 chains to a forebay;
(c) A pipeline leading from the forebay aforesaid in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 3 chains to the powerhouse hereinafter referred to;
(d) Water turbines, generators, and all necessary hydraulic and electrical equipment housed in a powerhouse situated on the right bank of the said stream;
(e) Tail race leading from the powerhouse aforesaid to the said stream.

Authorising the Laying Off of a Street Off Landon Avenue in the Borough of Papatoetoe Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Papatoetoe Borough Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 152900 referred to in the said Schedule, within a distance of 33 ft. from the centre line of the said street.
SCHEDULE THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, situated in the Borough of Papatoetoe, containing by admeasurement 37 perches, more or less, being part Lot 1, D.P. 15029, being portion of Fairburns Old Land Claim No. 269A. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 152900 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Appointing a Qualified Person to be a Representative of a Combined District on the Rangitikei Catchment Board

NORRIE, Governor-General WHEREAS part of Rangitikei County and part of Taupo County constitute a combined district for the purpose of electing three representatives on the Rangitikei Catchment Board: And whereas the combined district, at the election held on 17 November 1956, elected only two representatives; Now, therefore, pursuant to section 51 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General hereby appoints Ronald Claris Gordon, of Rongoiti, farmer, to be a representative of the combined district on the Rangitikei Catchment Board. As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 12th day of March 1957.
