being a point on the boundary of the Borough of Greytown
as described in the Gazette, 1926, at page 1655; thence northerly
to and along that boundary to the north-eastern corner of
Lot 1 aforesaid; thence north-easterly along a right line to
the southernmost corner of Tahorahina Part 2, along the
south-eastern boundary of that part to its easternmost corner,
and along a right line to a point on the production of the
middle of Lot 2 as shown on the plan numbered 6753 deposited
as aforesaid, in line with the northern boundary of Tahorahina
1A; thence northerly generally to and along the middle of
Lot 2 aforesaid to a point in line with the north-western
side of Massey Street; thence south-easterly along the north-
eastern boundary of part Tahorahina 128N to the middle
of Manihera Street; thence north-easterly along the middle
of Manihera Street and north-westerly along the middle of
Jellicoe Street to a point in line with the north-western
boundary of the land as shown on the plan numbered 4614
deposited as aforesaid; thence north-easterly to and along that
boundary and the production thereof to its intersection with

boundary of Section 2, Greytown, described as aforesaid;
thence southerly and westerly generally along that boundary
to a point in the middle of Kempton Road in line with the
eastern boundary of Lot 1 as shown on the plan numbered
3106 aforesaid, being the point of commencement.

numbered 7436, deposited as aforesaid, to the westernmost
corner of the aforesaid Lot 2, along a right line to the
northernmost corner of Section 39, Moroa Block, along the
north-western boundaries of that section and Section 38,
Moroa Block, to the westernmost corner of the aforesaid
Section 38, being a point on the boundary of the Borough
of Greytown described as aforesaid; thence north-easterly
generally along that boundary to a point in the middle of
Wood Street in line with the north-western boundary of Section
10, Greytown Small Farms Settlement, being the point of

Merger of Town District of Havelock in County of
Marlborough

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 13th day of
March 1957
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Local Government Commission
Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
declares:

  1. That, as on and from the 1st day of April 1957, the
    Town District of Havelock shall be merged in the County of
    Marlborough and the Havelock Town Council shall be dis-
    solved.
  2. That the merger of the said town district in the said
    county shall be deemed to have been effected under the
    Counties Act 1956.
  3. (a) That, as from the 31st day of March 1957, the Have-
    lock Secondary Urban Fire District shall be abolished.
    (b) That, on the 1st day of April 1957, the urban area
    of Havelock, being the area merged in the County of Marl-
    borough as aforesaid, shall be constituted a secondary urban
    fire district by the name of the Havelock Secondary Urban
    Fire District.

    The Wilson's (N.Z.) Portland Cement Limited Water Power
    and Electric Lines Licence 1957

    ORDER IN COUNCIL
    At the Government House at Wellington this 13th day of
    March 1957
    Present:
    HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
    PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the
    Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
    of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
    LICENCE
  4. This order may be cited as the Wilson's (N.Z.) Portland
    Cement Limited Water Power and Electric Lines Licence 1957
    and shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1957.
  5. Subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, Wilson's
    (N.Z.) Portland Cement Limited (hereinafter referred to as
    the licensee) is hereby granted a licence to obstruct, impound,
    or divert the waters of the Wairua River (hereinafter referred
    to as the said stream) situated in the County of Whangarei
    and to take and use therefrom, for the purpose hereinafter set
    forth, a stream of water not exceeding 350 cubic feet per
    second and to lay, construct, put up, place, and use electric
    lines within the area of supply described in the First Schedule
    hereto.
  6. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by
    the Water Power Regulations 1934 and the Electrical Supply
    Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated herein and shall form
    part of this licence, except in so far as they may be incon-
    sistent with the provisions of this licence.
  7. This licence is issued under the Water Power Regulations
    1934 and is subject thereto and to the Electrical Supply Regu-
    lations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio
    Interference Regulations 1934, and to all regulations made in
    amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, except in so
    far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this
    licence.
  8. Water shall be used under this licence solely for the pur-
    pose of generating electricity, and shall be taken from the
    said stream at the point marked "headworks", indicated on
    the plan marked S.H.D. 368 deposited in the office of the
    State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.
  9. The licensee is hereby authorised, subject to the con-
    ditions hereof, to construct, maintain, and use the works
    described in the Second Schedule hereto for the purposes of
    this licence, the positions of the said works being indicated on
    the said plan S.H.D. 368.
  10. The system of supply shall be as described in paragraphs
    (a) and (f) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply
    Regulations 1935.
  11. For the purpose of assessing the rental or annual sum
    payable in respect of this licence, the maximum generating
    capacity of the plant at the commencement of this licence is
    3,000 kilowatts.
  12. Nothing in this licence shall of itself be deemed to confer
    upon the licensee any right to water.
  13. This licence shall, unless sooner lawfully determined,
    continue in force until the 31st day of March 1978.
  14. The Order in Council dated the 1st day of July 1913 and
    published in the Gazette on the 24th day of the same month
    authorising the Dominion Portland Cement Company
    (Limited) to use water for the purpose of generating elec-
    tricity and to erect certain electric lines (the rights, powers,
    and privileges thereunder having been assigned to the licensee)
    is hereby revoked.
  15. The Order in Council dated the 29th day of September
    1930 and published in the Gazette on the 2nd day of October
    1930, at page 2873, amending the said Order in Council dated
    the 1st day of July 1913, is hereby revoked.
    FIRST SCHEDULE
    AREA OF SUPPLY
    ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, being
    portion of the County of Whangarei, bounded by a line com-
    mencing at Tapu Point on the Whangarei Harbour in Block
    XIII, Whangarei Survey District; thence southerly generally
    along the high-water mark of the Whangarei Harbour to and
    including Portland Wharf; thence along the high-water mark
    of the Whangarei Harbour and the Tokitoki Creek to and
    along the western side of an unformed road to the north-
    western corner of Maungakaramea Block; thence along the
    western boundary of the Maungakaramea Block to the Manga-
    pai River; thence along the northern bank of the Mangapai
    River to the Whangarei-Maungaturoto State Highway No. 4;
    thence north-westerly along the north-eastern side of the said
    State highway to the south-eastern boundary of Allotment
    S.W. 24, Maungatapere Parish; thence along the boundary
    between Allotments S.W. 24 and N.E. 24, Maungatapere
    Parish, to the north-western corner of Allotment S.E. 24;
    thence north-westerly along a right line to the Wairua Falls
    Electric Power Station on the western bank of the Wairua
    River; thence southerly along the western bank of the Wairua
    River to the boundary between Mangakahia 2B 2 No. 2c
    Block and Mangakahia 2B 2 part 2D Block; thence north-
    westerly along the boundary between the said blocks to the
    Tokiri Road; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern
