Altering the Boundaries of the Te Awamutu Electric Power District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby alter the boundaries of the Te Awamutu Electric Power District by including therein the area described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, being parts of the Otorohanga and Waitomo Counties, containing approximately 34,000 acres, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Hauturu Road, in line with the south-western boundary of Section 10, Block X, Pirongia Survey District, and running easterly generally along a right line to and along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Section 10 aforesaid, to and along the south-eastern side of a public road and the south-eastern boundary of Section 24, Block X aforesaid, along the southern boundaries of part Section 4 and Sections 7, 8, 9, and 18, Block X aforesaid, crossing an intervening public road, to and along the eastern boundary of Section 18 aforesaid to the southern side of the Kawhia-Kawa Main Highway; thence along the southern side of the said main highway, crossing an intervening public road and along the western side of Turoto Road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Waiwhakaata No. 3E 5 Block; thence along a right line across the aforesaid road, to and along the south-western boundary of Waiwhakaata No. 3E 5 Block aforesaid, to and along the south-western boundary of Waiwhakaata No. 3E No. 6 Section 4B Block, along the western boundary of Section 6, Block XVI, Pirongia Survey District, to and along the southern boundary of part Section 2, Block XVI aforesaid, and along a right line across a public road, to and along the southern boundary of Section 25, Block XVI aforesaid, and along the western and south-western boundary of Section 7 of the said Block XVI, to the Pirongia-Otorohanga Main Highway; thence southerly generally along the western side of the said main highway, crossing an intervening public road, to and along the northern boundary of Puketarata No. 4G 2A Block, to and along the north-western boundary of Lot 2 as shown on the plan numbered 13272 deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, being part Otorohanga No. P 2 Section 2B Block, and along the north-western boundary of Section 6, Block IV, Orahiri Survey District, and the northern boundaries of Lots 2 and 1 as shown on the plan numbered 31516 deposited as aforesaid, being parts of Section 6, Block III, of the said Orahiri Survey District, to the Honikiwi Main Highway; thence along a right line across the said main highway to and along the southern boundary of part Otorohanga No. 2c 2B Block to the south-western corner of that block; thence along a right line to and along the western boundary of Section 17, Block III aforesaid, and the north-western boundaries of Sections 8 and 9 of the said Block III, to and along the generally northern boundaries of Sections 30 and 26 of the said Block III, crossing an intervening public road, along the north-western boundaries of Section 26 aforesaid and Section 27, Block III aforesaid, to and along the northern boundary of Section 2, Block VI, Orahiri Survey District, and that boundary produced to the middle of the Tapuae Road; thence along the middle of that road to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 1 of the said Block VI; thence along a right line to and along the northern and western boundaries of Section 1 aforesaid, along the northern boundaries of Sections 1 and 1A, Block V, Orahiri Survey District, crossing the Orongo Road, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of Hauturu Road; thence along the middle of that road to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 8, Block I, Orahiri Survey District; thence along a right line to and along the generally northern boundaries of Section 5A, Block V, Orahiri Survey District, and Section 1, Block VIII, Kawhia South Survey District, to the eastern corner of Lot 2 as shown on the plan numbered 12587 deposited as aforesaid, being part of Section 4, Block VIII aforesaid; thence northerly generally along the eastern boundary of Lot 2 aforesaid; to and along the generally eastern boundaries of Sections 5 and 15, Block IV, Kawhia South Survey District, along the generally southern and eastern boundaries of Section 13, Block IV aforesaid, to and along the eastern boundary of Section 16, Block IV aforesaid, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Kaimango Road; thence along the middle of the said Kaimango Road, to and along the middle of the Hauturu Road, to the point of commencement.
As the said area is shown outlined in yellow on the plan marked S.H.D. 425 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.
