HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Timaru City Council to lay off the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 40 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan referred to in the said Schedule as P.W.D. 152266 within a distance of 35 ft. from the centre line of the said street.

THAT proposed street in the Canterbury Land District, City of Timaru, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 4·9 perches, more or less, being part Lots 60 and 61, D.P. 573 (Lot 17, L.T.P. 19052), being part Rural Section 1703.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 152266 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, at the request of the Minister of Agriculture made on the recommendation of the Rabbit Destruction Council, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby constitutes and declares the area of land, the boundaries of which are described in the Schedule hereto, being an area to which subsection (1) of section 14 of the Rabbits Act 1955 applies, a rabbit district, and appoints that the name of the said rabbit district shall be the Waipori Rabbit District, and orders that the basis on which the rabbit board to be established for the said district shall first levy its general rate shall be the acreage of the land occupied by the ratepayer.

BOUNDARIES OF THE WAIPORI RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Otago Land District and the Counties of Tuapeka and Bruce containing 170,000 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the centre of the road bridge across the Clutha River at Beaumont; thence generally northerly up the centre of the Clutha River to the confluence of the Talla Burn; thence generally north-easterly up the centre of the Talla Burn to and easterly along the southern boundary of Run 658 and its production to the western boundary of Hedgehope Survey District at a point approximately 80 chains south of Trig Station I; thence generally southerly along the western boundary and easterly along the southern boundary of Hedgehope Survey District and the southern boundary of Lee Stream Survey District to the western boundary of Block III, Waipori Survey District; thence southerly along the western boundaries of Blocks III and VI, Waipori Survey District, to and across the Verter Burn arm of Lake Mahinerangi; thence generally westerly along the southern shore of Lake Mahinerangi to the dam; thence generally south-easterly down the centre of the Waipori River to the easternmost corner of Block X, Waipori Survey District thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of Run 51A and Section 1A, Block X, Waipori Survey District, and Section 63, Block IX, Clarendon Survey District, to the northernmost corner of Section 22, Block IX; thence southerly along the western boundaries of Sections 23, 38, 47, 56, and 57, Block IX, and Sections 16 and 15, Block VIII, Clarendon Survey District, to and across a road; thence generally westerly along the northern boundaries of Sections 34, 33, 32, and 31, Block X, Clarendon Survey District; thence south-westerly to and along the south-eastern side of Douglas Road to and westerly along the southern side of a road through Section 22, Block VI, Table Hill Survey District, to the East Branch of the Tokomairiro River; thence southerly down the centre of that river to the eastern boundary of Section 7, Block VI aforesaid; thence southerly along that boundary to and across a road; thence generally northerly along the northern boundaries of Sections 43, 19, 42, and 41 to the eastern boundary of Block V, Table Hill Survey District; thence northerly along that boundary to Fletts Bridge Road; thence generally westerly along that road, being the northern boundary of Sections 28 and 29; to and along the northern boundary of Section 26, Block V aforesaid, to the western branch of the Tokomairiro River; thence generally south-westerly down the centre of that branch to the confluence of Shepherds Gully Stream; thence north-westerly up the centre of that stream to Nugget Creek Road; thence north-easterly to and along a closed road through Section 71, Block IV, Table Hill Survey District; thence generally north-westerly along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 71 and 72, Block IV, and the eastern boundaries of Sections 29, 28, and 25, Block VII, and easterly along the northern boundaries of Sections 24, 23, and 11, Block VII, to the south-western corner of Section 16, Block XI, Table Hill Survey District; thence northerly along the western boundary of that Section 16 to and north-westerly along the south-western boundaries of Sections 11, 12, 13, and 14 and their production to the Waitahuna River; thence down the centre of that river to the confluence of German Creek; thence generally north-westerly up the centre of that creek and its branch to the southern boundary of Section 34, Block V, Tuapeka East Survey District; thence westerly to and generally north-westerly along the road through that Section 34 to and along Matheson Road through Sections 45 and 49, Block X, to the Lawrence-Waipori road; thence north-westerly along that road to and along the north-western boundary of Section 33, Block X, easterly along the northern boundary of that Section 33 to and northerly along the western boundary of Section 44 and westerly and north-westerly along the southern and south-western boundaries of Section 51, Block X, to the southern boundary of Block XIII, Tuapeka East Survey District; thence westerly and northerly along the southern and western boundaries of that block to and along the northern boundaries of Sections 53 and 52, Block XVIII, to the north-western corner of that Section 52; thence north-westerly along a straight line to the south-eastern corner of Section 39, Block XVIII; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of Section 39 and south-westerly and westerly along the north-western boundaries of Sections 39 and 56 and the northern boundary of Section 37 to the Tuapeka River; thence southerly down the centre of the Tuapeka River to the Milton-Queenstown State Highway; thence north-westerly along the centre of that highway to point of commencement.

PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Mid-Wakatipu Rabbit District Order 1957.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
- The boundaries of the Mid-Wakatipu Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 24th day of September 1952,* are hereby altered and redefined; and as from the commencement of this order the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

BOUNDARIES OF THE MID-WAKATIPU RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area of land in Southland Land District, Lake, Southland, and Wallace Counties, containing by estimation 210,500 acres, more or less, inclusive of roads and streams and bounded as follows:
Commencing at a point being the intersection of the eastern boundary of Run 389A and a right line between Sugar Loaf and Trig. L; thence south-easterly along the said right line through Trig. L to the western shore of Lake Wakatipu; thence south-easterly, north-easterly, and again south-easterly generally along the western shore of Lake Wakatipu to the northern boundary of Run 6; thence north-westerly generally along the northern boundary of Run 6 and south-westerly generally along the north-western boundaries of the said Run 6 and Run 420A to Eyre Peak; thence again south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of Runs 418, 527, and 547 and part Run 509 to the junction of the last-mentioned boundary with the north-eastern boundary of Run 391; thence north-westerly and south-westerly generally along the north-eastern and northern boundaries of the said Run 391 to the eastern boundary of Run 389; thence northerly generally along the eastern boundaries of Runs 389 and 389A to the point of commencement.
