Approval of Testing Officers Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

Pursuant to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the persons named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being testing officers under the said regulations for the authority specified in column 1 of the said Schedule.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

Pursuant to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:

A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employers described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Special Order Made by the Patangata County Council Altering Riding Boundaries

Pursuant to section 100 of the Counties Act 1920 as amended by section 3 of the Counties Amendment Act 1921-22, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby publishes the following special order made by the Patangata County Council, and fixes the 1st day of April 1957 as the date on which the special order shall take effect.

SPECIAL ORDER

That, in pursuance of the powers conferred upon it by section 100 of the Counties Act 1920, the Patangata County Council hereby resolves and declares by way of special order that land mentioned in the Schedule attached hereto be deleted from the Pourerere Riding of the County of Patangata and included in the Eparaima Riding of the County of Patangata, such special order to be effective as from 1 April 1957.

SCHEDULE

Area in the Pourerere Riding Added to the Eparaima Riding of the Patangata County

All that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the south-western boundary of Pourerere Crown Grant District, where it is intersected by the south-eastern boundary of Lot 1 on the plan numbered 8739 deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier, in Block II, Blackhead Survey District; thence north-easterly, south-easterly, again north-easterly, north-westerly, generally, and south-westerly generally along the south-eastern, south-western, again south-eastern, north-eastern, and north-western boundaries of the said Lot 1 to the intersection of the southern boundary of the said Lot 1 and the Huatokitoki Stream; thence down that stream to its intersection with the south-western boundary of Pourerere Crown Grant District; thence south-easterly along that boundary to its intersection with the south-eastern boundary of the aforementioned Lot 1, being the point of commencement.

All that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Block 3, Pourerere Crown Grant District, being also a point on the sea coast situated in Block II, Blackhead Survey District; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundaries of the said Block 3 and of Blocks 2A and 2, Pourerere Crown Grant District, to the intersection of the last-mentioned boundary with the south-eastern boundary of Lot 1 on the plan numbered 8739 deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier; thence north-easterly, south-easterly, again north-easterly, north-westerly generally, and south-westerly generally, along the south-eastern, south-western, again south-eastern, north-eastern, and north-western boundaries of the said Lot 1 to the intersection of the southern boundary of the said Lot 1 and the Huatokitoki Stream; thence down that stream to its intersection with the north-eastern boundary of Block 75, Porangahau Crown Grant District; thence north-westerly along that boundary to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 2 on the plan numbered 8265 deposited as aforesaid; thence north-westerly generally along that boundary to the southernmost corner of Section 12, Block IX, Pourerere Survey District; thence north-easterly generally along the south-eastern boundaries of the said Section 12 and of Sections 11 and 10, Block IX aforesaid, to and across Motere Road and again along the south-eastern boundaries of the said Section 10 and of Lot 1 on plan numbered 2337 lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Napier to the southern boundary of Section 1, Block X, Pourerere Survey District; thence northerly generally along the western boundaries of the said Section 1 and of Sections 4, 3, 2, and 1, Block VI, and Sections 6, 4, and 5, Block II, Pourerere Survey District, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Omakere Stream; thence up the middle of that stream to a point in line with the western boundary of Lot 1 on the plan numbered 2256 deposited as aforesaid; thence northerly generally to and along that boundary to and across Boundary Stream to the south-western corner of Block 76, Mangakuri Crown Grant District; thence easterly generally along the southern boundary of the said Block 76, the western boundary of Block 22, the western and southern boundaries of Blocks 23 and 20, the southern and eastern boundaries of Block 21, and the southern boundary of Block 18, all of Mangakuri Crown Grant District, to the sea coast; thence southerly generally along the sea coast to the southernmost corner of Block 3, Pourerere Crown
