Pursuant to all powers in that behalf him enabling, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Orders in Council particulars of which are set out in the Schedule hereto declaring the lands mentioned therein to be excepted from the operation of sections 107 to 110 (inclusive) and sections 115 and 116 of the Maori Land Amendment Act 1913, and to be absolutely inalienable except by will.

Authorising Humphrey Clarence Acton-Adams, of Mahunga, Kaikoura, Sheep Farmer, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Kaikoura

THE RIGHT HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises Humphrey Clarence Acton-Adams, of Mahunga, Kaikoura, sheep farmer (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
- The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
- The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (d) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, and shall be an alternating-current system.
DURATION OF LICENCE
- Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1977.
SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensee's generator and proceeding in a south-easterly direction across a road to a shed, all being situated in Block XV, Greenburn Survey District in the County of Kaikoura, the said lines and buildings being more particularly shown on the plan marked S.H.D. 424 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.

Appointment of Chairman of Government Service Tribunal

Pursuant to the Government Service Tribunal Act 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, hereby appoints Wilfred Fosberry Stilwell, Esquire, a Judge of the Court of Arbitration, to be Chairman of the Government Service Tribunal for a term of three years commencing on the 1st day of November 1956.

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access way described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Rotorua and be under the control and management of the Rotorua Borough Council.
SCHEDULE
All those pieces of land in the South Auckland Land District, situated in Block I, Tarawera Survey District, Borough of Rotorua, Auckland R.D., described as follows:
