A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of road in the Canterbury Land District containing .87 acres 1 rood 20 perches, situated in Blocks V and IX, Pukaki Survey District, Canterbury R.D., and adjoining Runs 84, 85B, 85A, Reserve 4210, and Run 85; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 152586 (S.O. 8112) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 31st day of January 1957.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 14ยท5 perches. Being part Lot 4, D.P. 4030, being part Sections 15 and 39, Block I, Campbelltown Hundred.
Situated in the Borough of Bluff. (S.O. 6314.)
In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 14256 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

THE RIGHT HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto for the common use and benefit of the members of the Ngatiwai Tribe as a Maori reservation for the purposes of a meeting place and recreation ground.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area of land situated in Block VIII, Russell Survey District, containing 8 acres and 27 perches, more or less, and being all of the land known as Ngaiotonga A1; as is more particularly delineated on the plan numbered 21/3/313 lodged in the Head Office of the Department of Maori Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.
