THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Local Government Loans Board Act 1926, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

ORDER IN COUNCIL

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes Charles Thomas Richardson, of Masterton, Farmer (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS

  1. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
    LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
  2. In respect of the electric lines hereby authorized the licensee shall comply with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof, or in substitution therefor, respectively.
    SYSTEMS OF SUPPLY
  3. The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (d) and (e) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
    DURATION OF LICENCE
  4. Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1976, or until electrical energy is available from the Tararua Electric Power Board, whichever is the earlier.
    SCHEDULE
    Lines for the supply of electrical energy by the systems of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from a pole situated on the south-eastern boundary of Section 186, and proceeding in a northerly direction to a transformer and thence-
    (a) In a north-westerly direction to a house.
    (b) In a north-easterly direction to two cottages.
    (c) In a south-easterly direction to a woolshed.
    All being situated in Section 186, Block XVI, Puketoi Survey District, in the County of Eketahuna.
    The said lines being more particularly shown by means of red and green lines on the plan marked S.H.D. 377 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.

    Authorising Dorothy May Aubrey, of Omarama, Farmer, to Use Water for the Purpose of Generating Electricity

    ORDER IN COUNCIL
    At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 7th day of February 1956
    Present:
    THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
    Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby grants to Dorothy May Aubrey, of Omarama, Farmer (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), a licence, subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to take and use from Longslip Creek (hereinafter referred to as the said stream) situated in Run 235B, Block XVI, Ahuriri Survey District, in the County of Waitaki, for the purpose hereinafter set forth, a stream of water not exceeding 3 cubic feet per second at any one time.
    CONDITIONS

  6. This licence is issued under the Water Power Regulations 1934, and is subject thereto and to the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and to all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively..
    Utilisation of Water and Location of Headworks
  7. Water shall be used under this licence solely for the purpose of generating electricity and shall be taken from the said stream at the point in Run 235B, Block XVI, Ahuriri Survey District, indicated on the plan marked P.W.D. 85010 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.
    GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORKS
  8. The licensee is hereby authorised, subject to the conditions hereof, to construct, maintain, and use the following works for the purpose of this licence, the positions of the said works being indicated on the said plan P.W.D. 85010;
    (a) Headworks consisting of a dam, intake, and water race leading to the powerhouse hereinafter referred to giving a static head of approximately 27 ft.
    (b) Water turbine and powerhouse with all necessary equipment for generating electricity, situated in Run 235B, Block XVI, Ahuriri Survey District.
    (c) Tail race leading from the said powerhouse to a tributary of the said stream.
