SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
5. The system of supply shall be a direct-current system
as described in paragraph (d) of regulation 21-01 of the
Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
DURATION OF LICENCE
6. Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall
continue in force until the 31st day of March 1976.
RENTAL
7. For the purpose of assessing the rental or annual sum
payable in respect of this licence, the licensee may install a
suitable maximum-demand indicator to the satisfaction of the
inspecting engineer of the State Hydro-electric Department,
and failing such installation the rental shall be assessed on
the maximum generating capacity of the plant installed. The
present plant is rated at 5 kilowatts.
NO RIGHT TO WATER CONFERRED
8. Nothing in this licence shall of itself confer upon the
licensee any right to water.

PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations
Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
authorises the Upper Hutt Borough Council to permit the
laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule
hereto at a width for the whole of its length of less than
66 ft., but not less than 40 ft., subject to the condition that
no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected
on Lot 3 of a subdivision of land thereon edged green on the
plan marked P.W.D. 149390 referred to in the Schedule
hereto, within a distance of 35 ft. from the centre line of the
said street, and subject further to the condition that no building
or part of a building shall at any time be erected on
Lots 4 to 13 inclusive of a subdivision of the said land shown
edged green on the said plan marked P.W.D. 149390 referred
to in the Schedule hereto within a distance of 48 ft. from the
centre line of the said street.

PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
approves of the resolution passed by the Wellington City
Council on the 13th day of July 1955, and set out in the First
Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the side and portion
of street described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
THE Wellington City Council, being the local authority having
control of the streets in Wellington City, by resolution declares
that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act
1928 shall not apply to the eastern side of the portion of
Cuba Street adjoining part Section 102, Town of Wellington,
being all (or part) of the land in certificate of title, Volume
333, folio 108, Wellington Registry (limited).
SECOND SCHEDULE
THE eastern side of all that portion of street situated in the
Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Cuba
Street, fronting part Section 102, Town of Wellington, part of
the said parcel of land being also Lots 1 and 2, Deeds Plan 106.
