Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Government Loans Board Act 1926, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Varying the Conditions in Respect of the Borrowing by the Blenheim Borough Council by Way of Hypothecation of Debentures

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS, by Order in Council made on the 15th day of March 1955 (hereinafter called the said Order in Council) and subject to the conditions therein set out, consent was given to the borrowing by the Blenheim Borough Council (hereinafter called the said local authority) by way of hypothecation of debentures authorised to be issued in respect of a loan of £5,000 known as Housing Subdivision Loan 1954:
And whereas it is expedient to vary certain of the conditions aforesaid in respect of the said borrowing:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 7 of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act 1932-33 and section 8 of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Amendment Act 1933, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby varies the conditions contained in the said Order in Council by prescribing that, in lieu of a rate of interest not exceeding 4 per cent per annum, the borrowing by the said local authority by way of hypothecation as aforesaid shall be at a rate of interest not exceeding 4½ per cent per annum.

Revoking Licences Vesting the Management and Appointing Trustees for the Boatslip at Moeraki

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes, as from the 30th day of November 1956, the Order in Council of the 11th day of June 1947 published in the Gazette, 19 June 1947, Volume II, page 751, vesting in trustees the management of the boat-slip or landing at Moeraki, and the Orders in Council of the 19th day of September 1951 and the 26th day of May 1953 published respectively in the Gazette, 27 September 1951, Volume III, page 1434, and 11 June 1953, Volume II, page 897, appointing trustees for the boatslip or landing at Moeraki.

Revoking Licence Authorising Rupert Joseph Fell to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore at Kohukohu as a Site for a Platform.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes, as from the 31st day of March 1956, the Order in Council of the 8th day of December 1953 published in the Gazette, 4 February 1954, Volume I, page 174, licensing Rupert Joseph Fell to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Kohukohu in Hokianga Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 9571 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a platform thereon.

Vesting the Management of the Boatslip at Moeraki in Trustees and Prescribing Dues and Rates to be Charged for the Use of the Boatslip

At the Government House at Wellington this 12th day of December 1956
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby vests in Edward John Pile, Leslie William Pile, and Edward William Pile, jun. (as trustees for the fishermen of the district) (hereinafter called the trustees, which term shall include their successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) the management of the boatslip at Moeraki, as shown on approved plan marked M.D. 2962 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, such vesting to be held and enjoyed by the trustees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the First Schedule hereto; and hereby prescribes that the dues and rates set forth in the Second Schedule hereto shall be charged and taken by the trustees for the use of the said boatslip.
FIRST SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
  2. The annual sum payable by the trustees shall be one shilling (1s.) payable on demand.
  3. The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the 30th day of November 1956.
