Road, along the eastern side of that road to a point in line
with the north-eastern boundary of Section 26, Block XV
aforesaid, to and along that boundary and the north-western
boundaries of that section and Section 77, to and across
Mangaoronga Road and along its western side to the north-
eastern corner of Lot 1 as shown on the plan numbered 2370
deposited as aforesaid; thence westerly along the northern
boundary of that lot and its production across Bowen Road
and along the southern side of that road to the northern
boundary of Section 140, Block XIV, Mangaone Survey Dis-
trict, along that boundary, to and across the Wellington-
Napier Railway, along the western side of that railway to and
along the northern boundary of Section 135, Block XIV
aforesaid, across Smith Line and along the northern bound-
aries of Lots 3 and 1 as shown on the plan numbered 665
deposited as aforesaid, and the southern side of the Woodville-
Masterton State Highway to a point in line with the north-
eastern boundary of Section 182, Block XIII, Mangaone Survey
District, to and along that boundary and its production to the
middle of the Makakahi River and up the middle of that
river to a point in line with the western boundary of Section
21, Block XIV, Tararua Survey District; thence north-westerly
along a right line bearing 295° 30' magnetic as described in
the Schedule of the Eketahuna County Act 1898, to the
intersection of that line with a right line from Trig. Station
Mount Dundas to Trig. Station Arawaru; thence north-easterly
along a right line to Trig. Station Arawaru, being the point
of commencement; excluding therefrom the Borough of
Eketahuna as described in New Zealand Statutes 1906, No. 15,
local, at page 272.
COUNTY OF AKITIO
All that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by
a line commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 43,
Block XII, Mount Cerberus Survey District; thence easterly
along the northern boundary of Section 45, Block XII afore-
said, to Trig. Station R (Wahatuara); thence south-easterly
along right lines through Trig. Stations P (Old Pukehou),
41A (Mount Arthur), and O (Otuarehua), to 39A (Taumata
o te Atua), being a point on the north-eastern boundary of
Lot 2 as shown on the plan numbered 10071 deposited in the
office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington, along that
boundary and its production to the middle of the Waimata
River, and down the middle of that river to a point in the
middle of its mouth; thence south-westerly to and along the
sea coast and a right line to a point in the middle of the mouth
of the Mataikona River; thence north-westerly generally up
the middle of that river and the Pakowhai River to the
northern boundary of Section 27, Block XVI, Puketoi Survey
District; thence westerly along that boundary, the northern
boundary of Section 28, again the northern boundary of
Section 27, the northern and western boundaries of Section
29, the western and northern boundaries of Section 27 afore-
said, the northern boundaries of Sections 9, 18, again Section
9, Section 19, and again Section 9, all the said sections of
Block XVI aforesaid, to the south-western corner of Section 19,
Block XII, Puketoi Survey District; thence northerly generally
along the western boundaries of that section and part Section
221, Akitio Block, the southern and western boundaries of
Section 16, Block XII aforesaid, the north-western boundaries
of Section I, Block VIII, Puketoi Survey District, and its
production to the northern side of Waihoki Valley Road,
along the northern side of that road to the south-western
corner of Section 4, Block V, Owahanga Survey District,
along the western boundary of that section, the south-western
boundary of Section 28, the south-western and north-western
boundaries of Section 29, both of Block V aforesaid, the
south-western boundary of Section 7, Block VIII, Puketoi
Survey District, and its production across the Masterton-
Weber via Alfredton Main Highway, along the north-western
side of that highway to and along the south-western boundary
of Section 28, Block IV, Puketoi Survey District, the southern
boundaries of Sections 29 and 7, the south-western boundaries
of Sections 6, 5, 4, and 3, all of Block IV aforesaid, across
Hutiwai Road, and along its western side, to and along the
south-western boundaries of Sections 25 and 28, and the
north-eastern boundaries of Section 23, all of Block III,
Puketoi Survey District, to the northernmost corner of that
section, and along the watershed by traverse lines as defined
on the plan numbered 13610 lodged in the office of the Chief
Surveyor at Wellington, to Peg VIII on the summit of the
Puketoi Range; thence north-easterly along the summit of
that range to and along the south-eastern boundaries of
Section 43, Block XII, Mount Cerberus Survey District, to
the north-eastern corner of that section, being the point of
commencement.
COUNTY OF CASTLEPOINT
All that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by
a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Pakowhai
Stream in line with the eastern boundary of Section 27, Block
XVI, Puketoi Survey District, the said point being on the
boundary of the Akitio County hereinbefore described; thence
south-easterly along the boundaries of the Akitio County to
a point in the middle of the mouth of the Mataikona River;
thence south-westerly to and along the sea coast and a right
line to a point in the middle of the mouth of the Whareama
River; thence northerly generally up the middle of that river
to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 288,
Whareama District, to and along that boundary and its
production to the middle of the Whareama River and again
up the middle of that river to a point due south of the
eastern end of the north-eastern boundary of Section 9,
Block III, Rewa Survey District; thence due north along a
right line crossing a public road, to that boundary; thence
westerly generally along that boundary, across Langdale Road
to and along the north-eastern boundaries of Section 5,
Block III aforesaid, along the south-eastern and northern
boundaries of Section 2, Block III aforesaid, the northern and
western boundaries of Section 1, Block II, Rewa Survey
District, to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1 as shown on
the plan numbered 2218 deposited in the office of the District
Land Registrar at Wellington, along that boundary to and
along the northern boundaries of Sections 622, 621, and the
northern and western boundaries of Section 75, all of Whareama
Block, to the northern side of the Blairlogie-Langdale Main
Highway, along the said northern side to and across the
Masterton-Castlepoint via Tinui Main Highway and along the
northern side of that highway to and along the north-eastern
boundaries of Sections 510 and 525, Whareama Block, to the
eastern boundary of Section 866, Whareama Block; thence
north-easterly generally along the south-eastern boundaries of
Sections 866 and 868, the south-western and south-eastern
boundaries of Section 863, to and along the south-western
and south-eastern boundaries of Section 924, all of Whareama
Block, to a point in line with the south-western boundary of
Lot 2 as shown on the plan numbered 880 deposited as afore-
said, and along a right line to the western corner of the said
Lot 2, along the north-western boundaries of Lots 2 and 3
as shown on the said plan numbered 880, along the western
boundary of Section 880, Whareama Block, to and along the
south-western, south-eastern, and north-eastern boundaries of
Lot 2 as shown on the plan numbered 1175 deposited as afore-
said, to and along the eastern and northern boundaries of
Sections 926 and 875, the north-eastern boundaries of Section
872, the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Sec-
tion 293, the south-eastern boundary of Section 812, to the
westernmost corner of Section 303, all of Whareama Block,
along the southern boundary of that section a distance of
1802.6 links and along lines bearing 69° 53' distance 2644.3
links, bearing 97° 36' distance 2428.3 links, to the south-
western corner of Lot 2 as shown on the plan numbered
4896 deposited as aforesaid, and along the western boundaries
of Lot 2 and the eastern boundaries of Lot 1 as shown on
the said plan numbered 4896, to the westernmost corner of
Lot 1 as shown on the plan numbered 9604 deposited as
aforesaid, being a point on the boundary of the Eketahuna
County hereinbefore described; thence easterly generally along
the southern boundaries of that County to a point in the
middle of the Pakowhai Stream, in line with the eastern
boundary of Section 27, Block XVI, Puketoi Survey District,
being the point of commencement.
FOURTH SCHEDULE
ALFREDTON RIDING, COUNTY OF EKETAHUNA
ALL that portion of the Eketahuna County bounded by a line
commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 26, Block
XV, Mangaone Survey District; thence north-easterly generally
along the south-eastern and eastern boundaries of Section 75,
Block XV aforesaid, the south-eastern boundaries of Section
41, the south-western, south-eastern, and north-eastern bound-
aries of Section 44, the southern and eastern boundaries of
Section 25, the eastern boundaries of Section 6, and crossing
the Eketahuna-Alfredton Main Highway, all the aforesaid
sections being of Block XI, Mangaone Survey District; and
the eastern boundary of Section 39, Block VII, Mangaone
Survey District, to and along the southern boundary of
Section 41, Block VII aforesaid, across Tawataia Road and
along the south-western boundaries of Section 30, the southern
boundaries of Sections 30A and 30B, all of Block VII afore-
said, along the western and southern boundaries of Section 1,
Block VIII, Mangaone Survey District, to the western side
of Pa Valley Road, along that side of the said road to and
along the southern and western boundaries of Section 175,
Rangitumau Block, to the north-western corner of that sec-
tion, being a point on the boundary of the Eketahuna County
hereinbefore described; thence easterly, southerly, and westerly
generally, along the boundaries of the Eketahuna County
aforesaid, to the northernmost corner of Section 26, Block
XV aforesaid, being the point of commencement.
FIFTH SCHEDULE
MATAIKONA RIDING, COUNTY OF AKITIO
ALL that portion of the Akitio County bounded by a line
commencing at the south-western corner of Section 4, Block
V, Owahanga Survey District, being a point on the boundary
of the Akitio County hereinbefore described; thence easterly
generally along the northern side of Waihoki Road to a point
in line with the southern boundary of Section 22, Block V
aforesaid, to and along that boundary, the south-western
boundary of Section 17, and the south-western and southern
boundaries of Section 18, both of Block VI, Owahanga
Survey District, to the western side of Wai o Waka Road;
thence northerly along that side of the said road, and south-
easterly along the north-eastern side of Spur Road to a point
in line with the south-western boundary of Section 5, Block
XI, Owahanga Survey District, to and along that boundary
and the southern and eastern boundaries of that section, to
the left bank of the Waingongora Stream; thence northerly
and south-easterly generally down the left bank of that
stream, a right line across the Owahanga River to its left
bank, and down that left bank to the sea coast, being a point
on the boundary of the Akitio County hereinbefore described;
thence south-westerly and north-westerly generally along the
boundaries of the Akitio County, to the south-western corner
of Section 4, Block V aforesaid, being the point of commence-
ment.
