Easement Over Land Taken for the Development of Water Power (Substation) in the Borough of Riccarton

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that an easement for the development of water power (substation) is hereby taken over the land described in the Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen the full and free liberty, right, licence, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, and maintain a line of underground cables of any size or nature whatsoever in, under, along, and over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and to convey electricity through the said cables, together with the further right for Her Majesty's servants, agents, and workmen to enter upon the said land from time to time, by day and by night, for the purposes of opening up the soil and inspecting, repairing, renewing, operating, testing, and maintaining the said underground cables in good and satisfactory order, such easement to be held appurtenant to the land in Proclamation No. 614 (Canterbury Land Registry).

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an automatic telephone exchange; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 24th day of December 1956.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 14·3 perches.

Being part Lot 3, D.P. 11160, being part Section 2.

Situated in Block V, Punakitere Survey District, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 39713.)

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken in connection with street extension and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Lower Hutt as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 24th day of December 1956.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Leicester Con-way Dron, of St. Andrews, farmer, under and by virtue of Crown lease, Volume 529, folio 102, Canterbury Land Registry, is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 24th day of December 1956.
