Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Street at Frankton

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Hamilton City Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

In the South Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 14417 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 27th day of November 1956.

Being part Avenal Street.

Situated in Invercargill City. (S.O. 6337.)

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 14425 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured green, edged green.
