Declaring Land in North Auckland Land District, Vested in
the Auckland Education Board as a Site for a Public
School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), it
is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any
other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by
Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school
site which in his opinion is no longer required for that
purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty, and thereupon the
school site or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in
Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational
trust affecting the same but subject to all leases, encum-
brances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of
the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of
the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby
Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto, being an area vested in the Auckland Education Board
as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty
the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational
trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encum-
brances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date
hereof.

LOT 1, D.P. 44224, being part Allotment 37, Parish of Manu-
rewa, situated in Block X, Otahuhu Survey District: Area,
13·4 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 779,
folio 79, limited as to parcels and title.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line
of a Portion of a Deviation of the Wellington-Paekakariki
Centennial Main Highway

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation
dated the 9th day of October 1945 and published in Gazette,
11 October 1945, Volume III, page 1264, and deposited in
the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 3605, defining
the middle line of a portion of a deviation of the Wellington-
Paekakariki Centennial Main Highway, in so far as it affects
the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land affected: 32·07 perches.
Being Lot 48, D.P. 18679, being part Section 50, Porirua
District, and part closed road. Part certificate of title, Volume
704, folio 72, Wellington Land Registry.
Situated in Block V, Belmont Survey District.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the portion of public domain described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby set apart for defence purposes; and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
10th day of December 1956.

2 acres and 0·8 of a perch.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the First Schedule hereto, now held
for the development of water power (Otahuhu Substation),
is hereby set apart for the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway;
and that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto,
now held for the development of water power (Otahuhu
Substation), is hereby set apart for road diversion in connec-
tion with the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway; and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 10th day of December 1956.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was taken
for a municipal depot and vested in the Mayor, Councillors,
and Citizens of the City of Auckland by a Proclamation
dated 15 February 1954 and published in Gazette, 18 Febru-
ary 1954, Volume I, page 244:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works
Amendment Act 1952, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles
Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the said land is
hereby set apart as from the 10th day of December 1956 for
resubdivision and improvement within the Freemans Bay
reclamation area under Part II of the Housing Improvement
Act 1945.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 1 rood
11 perches.
Being part land on D.P. 1954, being Allotment 24 and part
Allotment 20 of Section 39, City of Auckland. All the land
