A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for a technical school, is hereby set apart for scientific and industrial research purposes (soil bureau); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 10th day of December 1956.

SCHEDULE

Approximate areas of the pieces of land set apart:

A. R. P. Being
5 3 38·8 Part Section 61, Hutt District; coloured orange.
6 2 3·5 Part Section 62, Hutt District; coloured blue.

Situated in the City of Lower Hutt. (S.O. 23292.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 151973 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 30th day of November 1956.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for a public school, is hereby set apart for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 10th day of December 1956.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 10th day of December 1956.

Approximate area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre and 35·3 perches.
Being Lot 5, D.P. S. 297, being part Allotment 188, Parish of Kirikirihoa. All certificate of title, Volume 1017, folio 11, Auckland Land Registry.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Palmerston North as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 10th day of December 1956.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the building-line restriction contained in K. 38796, Wellington Land Registry, and subject also, as to Lot 5 referred to in the said Schedule, to the drainage easement created by memorandum of transfer No. 395077, Wellington Land Registry, and as to Lot 12 referred to in the said Schedule to the drainage easement created by memorandum of transfer No. 395078, Wellington Land Registry, for State Housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 10th day of December 1956.
