proclaiming land as road in the Town of Mokihinui, Buller
County, and revoking previous Proclamation as to part pub-
lished in Gazette, 30 August 1956, No. 45, page 1175, in the
description of the area of 1 rood 16 perches read “part Section
116” for “part Section 16”.

Declaring Lands in Hawke’s Bay, Wellington, Marlborough,
and Canterbury Land Districts Vested in the Hawke’s Bay,
Wellington, and Canterbury Education Boards as Sites for
Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS, by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), it
is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any
other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by
Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school
site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose
shall be vested in Her Majesty, and thereupon the school site,
or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty,
freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the
same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or ease-
ments affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:

Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of
the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby
Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the First
Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Hawke’s Bay
Education Board, the lands described in the Second and
Third Schedules hereto, being areas vested in the Wellington
Education Board, and the land described in the Fourth
Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Canterbury Edu-
cation Board, as sites for public schools, shall be vested in Her
Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educa-
tional trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases,
encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the
date hereof.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT

LOT 57, Deeds Plan 77, being part Block 43, Ruataniwha
Crown Grant District: Area, 1 acre 2 roods 20 perches, more
