NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the
above-named company will be held in the offices of Messrs
Maguire, Seymour, Butcher, and Rowe, 113–115 Kimbolton
Road, Feilding, on Friday, 26 October 1956, at 10 a.m., for
the purpose of having an account laid before the meeting
showing the manner in which the winding up has been
conducted, and the property of the company disposed of, and
of hearing any explanation that may be given by the liquidator,
and also determining by extraordinary resolution the manner
in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company
and of the liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

NOTICE is hereby given that, by special resolution of shareholders
of the above company passed on the 4th day of
October 1956, it was resolved that the company be wound
up voluntarily and that George Bernard Battersby, of
Christchurch, public accountant, be appointed liquidator.
Notice is also given that the 31st day of October 1956
has been fixed as the day on or before which the creditors
of the company are to prove their debts or claims, or to
be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made
before such debts are proved, or, as the case may be, from
objecting to such distribution.

THE MINING ACT 1926

APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE FOR A WATER RACE

NOTICE is hereby given that Frederick William Blair, of
Wanaka, farmer, will apply to the Warden of the Otago
Mining District at Cromwell at 10 o'clock in the forenoon
on Wednesday, the 7th day of November 1956, for a
licence for a water race to divert four heads of water from
springs in the bed of the Cardrona River 300 yards below
Alberttown Bridge for irrigation and domestic purposes.
Objections must be filed in the office of the Mining
Registrar, Cromwell, and notified to applicant, whose
address for service is at the office of Brodrick and Parcell,
solicitors, Melmore Street, Cromwell, at least three days
before the above-mentioned time of hearing.
