MANGONUI COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Mangonui County Council, at its meeting held on the 20th day of July 1955, resolved to prepare for the Mangonui County a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.
Proposals marked "Mangonui County District Scheme" should be addressed to the County Clerk and delivered at the County Clerk's office on or before the 1st day of February 1957.

KAIKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954, public notice is hereby given that the town planning scheme prepared under the Town Planning Act 1926 and the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, for the Borough of Kaikohe, was approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 17th day of September 1956 after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections allowed. There were no appeals to the Town and Country Planning Appeal in respect of objections disallowed by the Council.
The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 8th day of October 1956.
Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council's office and in every public library in the district and may be inspected without fee by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953—MATAMATA COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME, TOKOROA SECTION

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 in operation in the district of Matamata County (Tokoroa Section) has become due for review under section 30 of that Act and is at present under revision accordingly.
A copy of the operative scheme (and a statement of the changes proposed to be made therein) has been deposited in the Council's office at Tirau, and may be inspected without fee by any person who so requires at any time when that place is open to the public.
Objections to the proposed changes of the scheme or in respect of any portion of the operative scheme which the Council proposes to confirm without any change may be made by way of written notice in the form No. 4 prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954, or to the like effect, and lodged at the office of the County Clerk marked "Objection to District Scheme" at any time not later than the 4th day of January 1957.

Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.
Proposals marked "Featherston District Scheme" should be addressed to the Town Clerk and delivered at the Town Clerk's office on or before the 30th day of November 1956.

WAIHEMO COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Housing Loan 1956, £2,800

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Waihemo County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £2,800 authorised to be raised by the Waihemo County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of building a staff dwelling, the said Waihemo County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·0267d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the County of Waihemo, comprising the whole of the County of Waihemo; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above-mentioned resolution is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Waihemo County Council at a meeting held on the 17th day of September 1956.
