the south-eastern boundary of Section 23, Block XII, Waipahi
Survey District; thence north-easterly and northerly along the
middle of that road and that middle line produced to the
middle of the Waipahi River; thence generally north-westerly
down the middle of the Waipahi River to a point due east of
the northern side of a road intersecting Section 4, Block XI,
Waipahi Survey District; thence to and westerly along the
northern side of that road to the western boundary of the
Waipahi Survey District; thence northerly along that western
boundary to the southern boundary of Block X, Waipahi
Survey District; thence easterly along that southern boundary
to the Waipahi River; thence south-westerly up the middle of
that river to a point due west of the southern boundary of
Block VII, Waipahi Survey District; thence easterly along a
straight line to and along that southern boundary to the south-
eastern boundary of Section 4s, Arthurton Settlement; thence
north-easterly along that south-eastern boundary and easterly
along the southern boundaries of Sections 8, 7, and 6, and
the crossing of a road and railway to the eastern boundary of
the said Section 6, in Block VII, Waipahi Survey District;
thence southerly along the eastern boundary of that Block
VII to the point of commencement. As the said area is shown
outlined in red on the plan marked S.H.D. 411 deposited in
the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.

General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the
area of land described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife
refuge for the purposes of the said Act.

PART Allotment 63, Waioneke Parish, situated in Block VII,
Okaka Survey District: Area, 7 acres, approximately.

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act
1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke
Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby pro-
claim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette,
become a street, and that the said street shall be under the
control of the Ngaruawahia Borough Council and shall be
maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public
highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
