Crown Land Set Apart for Railway Purposes at Timaru

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare
that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
24th day of September 1956.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 1
rood 38 perches.

Being Lots 16, 17, and 18 on the plan marked P.W.D. 151092
(H.D.C. 31124) deposited in the office of the Minister of
Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red, and being part
Lots 100, 102, and 103, D.P. 13401, being part Rural Section
2947. Formerly part certificate of title, Volume 547, folio
221, Canterbury Land Registry, and being all the land in
Gazette, 1956, No. 44, page 1077.

Situated in the City of Timaru.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 13th day of September 1956.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line
of Portion of the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway (Stewart's
Gully Deviation)

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation
dated the 17th day of February 1951 and published
in the Gazette of that year at page 218, and deposited in the
Land Registry Office at Christchurch as No. 336586, in so far
as it affects all the land comprised and described in certificate
title, Volume 394, folio 87, limited, being part Rural Section
468, Block XV, Rangiora Survey District, Eyre County.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 13th day of September 1956.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

At the Government House at Wellington this 12th day of
September 1956

Present:

His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule
hereto for the common use and benefit of the Maori people
of the Tai-Tokerau District as a Maori reservation for the
purposes of a meeting place.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area of land situated in Block XVI, Whangape
Survey District, containing 3 acres 1 rood and being all of the
land known as Panguru A 64, as is more particularly deline-
ated on the plan numbered 21/3/308 lodged in the Head
Office of the Department of Maori Affairs, Wellington, and
thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land
described in the Schedule hereto, the said land being no longer
required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold:
39· 36 perches.

Being Lot 7, Block VI, D.P. 38, being part Section 6, Block
XXXV, Clutha Survey District (Borough of Balclutha). All

of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.
