A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of street closed: 14Β·32 perches. Adjoining or passing through part Section 3 and part Lot 15, Block I, D.P. 1793, being part Section 2, Block X, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District.

Situated in the City of Dunedin, Otago R.D. (S.O. 12218.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 151275 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Altering the Boundaries of the Otago Central Electric Power District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby alter the boundaries of the Otago Central Electric Power District by including therein the areas described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

(a) All that area in the Otago Land District and the Lauder, St. Bathans, and Blackstone Survey Districts, being portion of the Maniototo County bounded by a line commencing at a point being the intersection of the eastern boundary of the Vincent County as described in Gazette, No. 13, of 1954, at page 298, with the southern boundary of Run 226G, and proceeding easterly along the southern boundaries of Run 226G aforesaid and Run 226C to the eastern boundary of the last-mentioned run; thence north-easterly generally along the eastern boundaries of Run 226C aforesaid and Runs 226B, 226A, and 226F, to the south-western boundary of Run 226; thence south-easterly along that south-western boundary to the middle of Dunstan Stream; thence southerly along the middle of that stream to its junction with the Manuherikia River; thence south-westerly generally along the middle of that river to the eastern boundary of the Vincent County as hereinbefore described; thence south-westerly and northerly generally along that County boundary to its intersection with the southern boundary of Run 226G aforesaid, being the point of commencement. As the said area is shown outlined in green on the plan marked S.H.D. 409 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.

(b) All that area in the Otago Land District and the Cardrona Survey District being portion of the Lake County bounded by a line commencing at a point being the intersection of the western boundary of the Vincent County as described in Gazette, No. 13, of 1954, at page 298, with the northern boundary of the Cardrona Survey District, and proceeding southerly and south-westerly generally along that County boundary to the southern boundary of the Cardrona Survey District; thence westerly along that southern boundary to the western boundary of the said survey district; thence northerly along that western boundary to the northern boundary of the said survey district; thence easterly along that northern boundary to its intersection with the western boundary of the Vincent County as hereinbefore described, being the point of commencement. As the said area is shown outlined in green on the plan marked S.H.D. 410 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.

Altering the Boundaries of the Otago Electric Power District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby alter the boundaries of the Otago Electric Power District by including therein the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Otago and Southland Land Districts comprising portions of the Clutha and Southland Counties bounded by a line commencing at the south-eastern corner of Block VII, Waipahi Survey District; thence generally south-easterly along the south-western boundary of the Otago Electric Power District as described in the Gazette of 1939 at page 1139, to the north-western corner of Section 6, Block XX, Clutha Survey District; thence north-easterly to the Puerua River and generally easterly and southerly along the western boundary of the said power district as described in the Gazette of 1923 at page 2610, to the south-western boundary of Section 2, Block X, Clutha Survey District; thence generally south-westerly along the north-western boundary of the said power district as described in the Gazette of 1928 at page 3123, to the southernmost corner of Section 1, Block VII, Catlins Survey District; thence generally south-easterly along the south-western boundary of the said power district as described in the Gazette of 1950 at page 1834, to the sea coast at the mouth of the Purakaunui River; thence generally south-westerly along the sea coast to the mouth of the Chasland or Waipati River; thence generally north-westerly up the middle of that river to a point due east of Trig. Station V (Black Horn), in Block XIV, Waikawa Survey District; thence westerly along a straight line to that Trig. Station V; thence due north along a straight line to the northern boundary of Waikawa Survey District; thence westerly along that northern boundary to the eastern boundary of Section 5, Block XIV, Mokoreta Survey District; thence northerly along that boundary to and across a public road; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern side of that road which forms the northern boundary of Section 5 and the north-eastern boundary of Sections 3 and 2, Block XIV, Mokoreta Survey District, to a point due south of Trig. Station EE; thence northerly along a straight line to Trig. Station EE; thence generally north-easterly along the watershed through Bleak Hill to Trig. Station D, Catlins Cone; thence north-easterly along a straight line to the intersection of the south-western boundary of Run 258 and the southern boundary of Kuriwao Survey District; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of Run 258 and the middle of the Mokoreta River to the eastern boundary of the Slopedown Survey District; thence southerly along that eastern boundary to and westerly along the southern boundary of the Slopedown Survey District to a point due south of the westernmost corner of Section 5, Block VII, Slopedown Survey District; thence northerly along a straight line to that corner; thence north-westerly along a production of the south-western boundary of Section 5 aforesaid to the north-western boundary of Lot 7, D.P. 3410; thence north-easterly along that north-western boundary to the south-western boundary of Run 705; thence north-westerly along that south-western boundary and generally northerly along the western boundaries of Run 704 and Section 1, Block VI, Slopedown Survey District, to a road on the northern boundary of that Section 1; thence to and westerly along the middle of that road to and northerly along the middle of the road forming the eastern boundaries
