MANGAWhERO RIDING
ALL that area in the County of Wanganui bounded by a line commencing at a point on the boundary of that county (as described in Gazette of 1955, at page 1160), being the north-western corner of Tauakira 2DD situated in Block IX, Ngamatea Survey District; thence easterly and southerly generally along the boundary of the said county to a point in the middle of the Kaukoupo Stream in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 69, Block XVI, Ngamatea Survey District; thence westerly generally down the middle of that stream to its confluence with the Whangaehu River; thence southerly generally down the middle of that river to its confluence with the Manawanui Stream; thence north-westerly generally up the middle of that stream to and along the southern boundary of Section 3, Block XI, Ngamatea Survey District, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of a stock road forming the western boundary of the said Section 3; thence southerly generally along the middle of that road and Rurutoki Road to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 5, Block III, Mangawhero Survey District; thence westerly generally along the northern boundaries of that section and its production to the middle of Stock Reserve Road; thence southerly generally along the middle of that road to its termination on the north-western boundary of Section 1, Block VII, Mangawhero Survey District; thence south-westerly generally along the north-western and western boundaries of that section and Sections 2, 3, and 4, Block VII, aforesaid, and Sections 25, 23, and again Section 25, Block X, Mangawhero Survey District, and crossing three intervening roads, to the north-eastern corner of Lot 2 as shown on the plan numbered 17988 deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington; thence westerly generally along the northern boundaries of that lot and Lot 1 as shown on the aforesaid plan numbered 17988 and north-westerly generally along the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 3 and 1 as shown on the plan numbered 13843, deposited as aforesaid, to the eastern boundary of Section 21, Block IX, Mangawhero Survey District; thence northerly and westerly along the eastern and northern boundaries of that section crossing an intervening road, and continuing to the middle of the Mangawhero River;
