WAIUKU BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waiuku Borough Council, at its meeting held on 21st day of November 1955, has resolved to prepare for the Waiuku Borough a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which in his or its opinion should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.
Proposals marked "Waiuku District Scheme" should be addressed to the Town Clerk and delivered at the Town Clerk's office on or before the 9th day of April 1956.

NOTICE is hereby given that the affairs of the above-named company are now fully wound up and that the final meeting of members will be held pursuant to section 232 of the Companies Act 1933 at the registered office, 99 Queen Street, Auckland, on 23 February 1956 at 10 a.m. for the purpose of:

- Determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company are to be disposed of.

TARARUA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Tararua Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £47,440 (to be known as General Purposes Loan 1955) authorised to be raised by the Tararua Electric Power Board in New Zealand by special order under the above-mentioned Act and of all other Acts and authorities it thereunto enabling for the purpose of further reticulating the Board's district and providing vehicles and housing, the said Tararua Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 29/100 (twenty-nine one-hundredths) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all the rateable property in those portions of the rating area of the Tararua Electric Power District comprising the following special rating areas, namely, the Board's original district as defined in the First Schedule in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 21, of the 23rd day of March 1922, together with the Akitio County as defined in the Second Schedule in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 21, of the 23rd day of March 1922, and more particularly in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 28, of the 7th day of April 1938, at page 893, together with portion of the Weber County as defined in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 22, of the 24th day of March 1955, at page 424; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct extract from the minutes of a meeting of the Tararua Electric Power Board held on the 16th day of December 1955.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP
IT is hereby notified that the partnership existing between William Albert Roberts, of Kamo, Second-hand Dealer, and Colin Bruce Hawkins, of Whangarei, Second-hand Dealer, for the purpose of carrying on business as second-hand dealers, wool buyers, and sack and skin merchants at Whangarei and elsewhere, has been dissolved as from the 6th day of December 1955. As from that date the business is being carried on by the said Colin Bruce Hawkins on his own account.

BOROUGH OF CROMWELL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Housing Loan No. 2 1955
THAT, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £4,000 authorised to be raised by the Cromwell Borough Council under the Local Bodies' Loan Act 1926 and amendments thereto for the purpose of erecting two staff houses, the said Cromwell Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and three-quarter pence (1½d.) in the pound upon the rateable unimproved value of all the rateable property of the Borough of Cromwell, comprising the whole of the Borough of Cromwell on the 22nd day of December 1955; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until such time as the loan is fully paid off."
The common seal of the Corporation of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Cromwell was hereunto affixed pursuant to the above resolution passed on the 22nd day of December 1955, in the presence of-

LEGAT CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

"THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Harbours Act 1950, the New Plymouth Harbour Board Empowering Act 1924, the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Taranaki Harbour Board Act 1954, the Taranaki Harbour Board Empowering Act 1955, and of all other powers it thereunto enabling, the Taranaki Harbour Board hereby resolves that for the purpose of providing the redemption payments payable in respect of the loan of £111,600 constituting the Redemption Loan 1956, originally borrowed under the authority of the New Plymouth Harbour Board Empowering Act 1924 and authorised to be raised by the Board by the terms of an Order in Council made on the 29th day of August 1955 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 57, of the 8th day of September 1955, at page 1405, and the interest and other charges thereon, the said loan of £111,600 being for the purpose of redeeming at maturity to the extent that the sinking funds are insufficient the Harbour Works Loan 1924, first issue £100,000 and third issue £42,000, together with the costs of effecting redemption, the Board hereby makes and levies a special rate upon all rateable property within the Board's Harbour District as defined in the Fourth Schedule to the Taranaki Harbour Board
