Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be under the control and management of the Auckland City Council.

Amending an Order in Council Appointing Five Non-elective Members of the North Canterbury Catchment Board and Appointing One Non-elective Member

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,—
(i) Hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 3rd day of August 1949 and published in the Gazette, 4 August 1949, Vol. II, page 1626, appointing five non-elective members of the North Canterbury Catchment Board, by deleting “Senior Pedologist, Soil Bureau, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Christchurch”, and
(ii) Hereby appoints Henry Aemon Connor, M.Sc., Botanist, Botany Division, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Christchurch, to be a non-elective member of the North Canterbury Catchment Board for a term of three years commencing on the date of this Order in Council.

The Northern Side of Darwin Lane in the City of Auckland Exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

At the Government House at Wellington this 29th day of August 1956
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the resolution passed by the Auckland City Council on the 19th day of July 1956 and set out in the First Schedule hereto, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the northern side of Darwin Lane (described in the Second Schedule hereto) within a distance of 33 ft. from the centre line of the said street.
FIRST SCHEDULE
THE Auckland City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Auckland, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to the northern side of a public street now called Darwin Lane, fronting part of Allotments 162 and 154, and Allotment 161 of Section 16, Suburbs of Auckland, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 358, folio 95, Auckland Registry.
SECOND SCHEDULE
THE northern side of all that street, situated in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, known as Darwin Lane, fronting part Allotment 162, Section 16, Suburbs of Auckland.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 151300 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby changes the name of the society incorporated under the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act 1908 under the style and title of “The Tokomairiro Farmers’ Club” to “The Tokomairiro Agricultural and Pastoral Society (Milton)”.
