A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
20th day of August 1956.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
20th day of August 1956.

Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a
Road at St. Patricks

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928,
I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke
Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby pro-
claim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette,
become a road, and that the said road shall be under the
control of the Southland County Council and shall be main-
tained by the said Council in like manner as other public
highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 1 acre 2 roods 29
perches.

Being part railway land in Blocks IX and XIV, Hokonui
Survey District.

Situated in Southland County. (S.O. 6277.)

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particu-
larly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 14246 deposited in
the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at
Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Street at Ahuriri

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928,
I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke
Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby pro-
claim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette,
become a street, and that the said street shall be under the
control of the Napier City Council and shall be maintained
by the said Council in like manner as other public highways
are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 5·99 perches.

Being railway land, situated in Block IV, Heretaunga Sur-
vey District.

Situated in the City of Napier. (S.O. 2572.)

In the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 14248
deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Com-
mission at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

At the Government House at Wellington this 8th day of
August 1956

Present:

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to section 20 of the Reserves and Other Lands
Disposal Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule
hereto for the purposes of the Wallaceville Animal Research
Station and of that section.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT—HUTT COUNTY

All that area of land situated in Block I, Rimutaka Survey
District, containing approximately 138 acres 2 roods 17·2
perches, and being Sections 102B, 618, and 619, Hutt District,
less the road as shown on plan numbered 71/46/1, lodged in
the Head Office of the Department of Agriculture at Wel-
lington.
