Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.
SCHEDULE
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT—NELSON CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in Sounds County containing 787 acres, more or less, and being Sections 9 and 10, Block III, Gore Survey District. As shown on plan No. 105/2 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plan 964.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 23rd day of July 1956.

ALL those areas in Waimea County, containing 32 acres and 18 perches, more or less, being Section 36, Block X, and Section 43, Block XIV, Wai-iti Survey District, and Section 28, Block I, and Section 53, Block II, Gordon Survey District, all being formerly closed roads. As shown on plans Nos. 102/35 and 108/85 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plans 9899 and 9971.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 19th day of July 1956.

Authorising the Grey Electric Power Board to Erect and Use Electric Lines Within Parts of the Buller County

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 1st day of August 1956
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Grey Electric Power Board (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use electric lines within the areas of supply described in the Schedule hereto; and further, for the purpose of section 76 of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, subject to the said conditions, hereby authorises the licensee to construct electric works within the said areas of supply.
CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
- The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
SYSTEMS OF SUPPLY
- The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a) and (f) of regulation 21–01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
DURATION OF LICENCE
- This licence shall, unless sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 5th day of July 1966.
SCHEDULE
AREAS OF SUPPLY
ALL those portions of the Buller County described in the First Schedule to the Proclamation dated the 31st day of May 1956, and published in the Gazette on the 7th day of June 1956, at page 742, altering the boundaries of the Grey and Buller Electric Power Districts.

(b) All that portion of the Otorohanga County (formerly portion of the Kawhia County) included in the Te Awamutu Electric Power District by the Proclamation dated the 6th day of March 1956 and published in the Gazette on the 22nd day of the same month, at page 378.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and with the consent of the licensee, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the 29th day of March 1950 and published in the Gazette on the 5th day of April 1950, at page 369, authorising Francis Robert McWha, of Paenga, Murchison, Farmer, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity.
