point on the boundary of the Patangata County as described in the Gazette of 1947, at page 641; thence generally northerly along the western boundary of the Patangata County, the south-western boundary of the Waipukurau County as described in the Gazette of 1947, at page 641, and the south-western boundary of the Waipawa County as described in the Gazette of 1930, at page 2684, to the middle of the Napier—Palmerston North State Highway, being also a point in the middle of the Manawatu River; thence up the middle of that river to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Rakautatahi 1F 1A 5 Block; thence northerly to and along that boundary to the Mahurauiti Stream and up that stream to its intersection with the southern boundary of Rakautatahi 1E 2 Block; thence easterly along that boundary and the southern boundaries of Rakautatahi 1E 3, 1E 4, 1E 5, 1N, and 1C 1 Blocks, the crossing of a public road, and along the southern boundary of Rakautatahi 1C 2E Block to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned block; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of that block and the crossing of the intersecting public road to the southern side of the Makaretu River Road; thence westerly along that roadside to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Rakautatahi 1C 2B Block; thence northerly to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Makaretu River; thence up the middle of that river to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Block 89, Makaretu Crown Grant District; thence northerly to and along that boundary and the eastern boundaries of Block 183 and 133, Makaretu Crown Grant District, and the crossings of intersecting public roads to the north-eastern corner of the said Block 133; thence westerly and southerly and again westerly and southerly along the northern and western boundaries of the said Block 133 and the crossings of the intersecting public roads to the northern boundary of Block 130, Makaretu Crown Grant District; thence westerly along that boundary and the crossing of an intersecting public road and southerly along the western boundary of the said Block 130 and its production to the middle of the Makaretu River, being also a point on the boundary of the Waipawa County as hereinbefore described; thence westerly and northerly along the boundary of that county to a point on the summit of the Ruahine Range, being also a point on the southern boundary of the Hawke’s Bay Electric Power District as described in the Gazette of 1954, at page 970; thence generally easterly along that boundary to the sea coast and southerly along the sea coast to the south-western corner of Block X, Tautane Survey District, being the point of commencement. As the said area is shown outlined in blue on the plans marked S.H.D. 284/1, S.H.D. 284/3, and S.H.D. 391, deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.

FOURTH SCHEDULE

DANNEVIRKE ELECTRIC POWER DISTRICT

(a) All that area in the Hawke’s Bay and Wellington Land Districts comprising the Boroughs of Dannevirke and Woodville, the County of Woodville, and portion of the County of Dannevirke, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the summit of the Ruahine Range due west of the source of the Makaretu River; thence by a right line to the source of the Makaretu River; thence by a line down the middle of the Makaretu River to a point due north of the junction of the Palmerston North—Napier State Highway with the old Norsewood—Takapau road; thence by a line running due south to that junction; thence by a line in the middle of the Palmerston North—Napier State Highway in a southerly direction to the production of the southern boundary of Rakautatahi 1C 2C Block; thence to the southernmost corner of that block; thence westerly along the southern boundaries of Rakautatahi 1C 2C, 1C 2D, and 1C 2E Blocks, across a public road, and along the southern boundaries of Rakautatahi 1C 1, 1N, 1E 5, 1E 4, 1E 3, and 1E 2 Blocks to the intersection of the southern boundary of the last-named block with the Mahurauiti Stream; thence down the said Mahurauiti Stream forming the eastern boundary of subdivisions of Rakautatahi 1F 1 Block, to and along the eastern boundary of Rakautatahi 1F 1A 5 Block, and by that line produced to the middle of the Manawatu River; thence by a line down the middle of the Manawatu River to its confluence with the Waikopiro Stream; thence by a line up the middle of the Waikopiro and Mangapurakau Streams to the southern boundary of Lot 1 on plan 4265 deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier; thence by that boundary and the southern boundaries of Lots 2 and 3 on the aforesaid deposited plan 4265 to the Whatatuna Stream; thence down the middle of the Whatatuna Stream to its confluence with the Turaekaitai Stream; thence southerly and westerly up the Turaekaitai Stream to its intersection with the eastern boundary of Section 14, Block XV, Takapau Survey District; thence generally southerly along the boundary of the said Section 14 to its intersection with the Whangai Stream; thence south-westerly down the middle of that stream to its junction with the Mangapuaka Stream; thence up the middle of the said Mangapuaka Stream to its intersection with a right line running through Trig. Station 27 to Trig. Station 12 on the southern boundary of Section 4, Block V, Porangahau Survey District; thence along that line to Trig. Station 12; thence south-easterly and south-westerly along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Section 3, Block VIII, Mangatoro Survey District, to Te Uri Road; thence across Te Uri Road and along the eastern boundary of Section 2, Block XII, Mangatoro Survey District, to its south-eastern corner; thence westerly along the southern boundaries of the said Section 2 and S.G.R. 73, Block XII, Mangatoro Survey District, to the eastern boundary of Section 1, Block XI, Mangatoro Survey District; thence southerly along the eastern boundaries of Section 1, Block XI, Mangatoro Survey District, and Sections 2 and 1, Block XV, Mangatoro Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of the last-named section; thence generally westerly along the southern boundaries of Sections 1 and 3, Block XV aforesaid, Section 6, Block XIV, Mangatoro Survey District, across Speedy’s Road to and along the southern boundaries of part Section 4 and Lot 1 of Section 4, Block XIV, Mangatoro Survey District, the abuttal of a public road, the southern boundary of Lot 3 on plan 6539 deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier, across the Dannevirke—Weber main road to and along the southern boundary of Lot 2 on the aforesaid deposited plan 6539, along the southern boundaries of Sections 4, 3, and 2, Block XIII, Mangatoro Survey District, to Trig. Station 51 (Oporae); thence along the eastern boundaries of Puketoi 6B and 6A Blocks to Wahataura Trig. Station; thence westerly along the southern boundaries of Puketoi 6A Block, Lot 1 on plan 7164 deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier, and Section 10, Block XV, Tahoraiti Survey District, to a Rabbit Fence Reserve; thence southerly and westerly along the eastern and southern side of the Rabbit Fence Reserve to its intersection with the north-western boundary line of the land shown on plan 4376 deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington; thence generally westerly along the northern boundaries of that land to the western boundary of Section 13, Block III, Makuri Survey District; thence northerly along that boundary to the Rabbit Fence Reserve; thence north-westerly along the western side of that reserve to the southern boundary of Section 1, Block XIII, Tahoraiti Survey District, on the Wellington Land District boundary; thence westerly along the southern boundaries of Sections 1, 37, 24, 36, Block XIII, Tahoraiti Survey District, Sections 5, 4, 2, 1, Block IX, Woodville Survey District, and the southern boundary produced of Section 1, Block IX, Woodville Survey District, to a point in the middle of the Manawatu River; thence generally westerly along the middle of that river to a point opposite the south-eastern corner of Section 2, Subdivision X, of the Manchester Block; thence northerly to and along the eastern boundary of that subdivision to the north-western corner of Section 3, Block II, Gorge Survey District; thence to and along the middle of the road forming the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 3 to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 2, Block II, Gorge Survey District; thence to and along the western, northern, and eastern boundaries of the said Section 2 to its intersection with the western boundary of Section 6, Block II aforesaid; thence north-easterly along the western boundaries of Section 6, Block II aforesaid, Sections 4, 3, 1, and 6, Block VII, Gorge Survey District, to the north-western corner of the last-named section; thence south-easterly along the northern boundary of that section to Trig. Station 60A (Whariti) and thence generally northerly along the summit of the Ruahine Range to a point due west of the source of the Makaretu River, the point of commencement. As the said area is shown outlined in blue on the plan marked P.W.D. 124194 deposited in the office of the Ministry of Works at Wellington, but excepting thereout the area described in the First Schedule to this Proclamation.

(b) All that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District being portion of the Dannevirke County (formerly portion of the Weber County) bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost point of the northern boundary of the Weber County as described in the Gazette of 1921, at page 583, being also a point on the northern boundary of Block XV, Mangatoro Survey District, and proceeding westerly, southerly, and westerly generally along the northern boundary of the Weber County as hereinbefore described to the north-eastern boundary of Section 18, Block I, Weber Survey District; thence along a right line to the south-western boundary of the said Section 18; thence south-easterly along the said south-western boundary to the western extremity of Waipatiki Road; thence again south-easterly generally along the south-western side of the said road to and along the western boundary of Section 17, Block I aforesaid, to and across Oporae Road to and along the western boundary of Section 16, Block I aforesaid, to and across Grey Road, to and along the western and southern boundaries of Section 11, Block XV, and of Section 10, Block XVI, both of Weber Survey District, to Falls Road; thence southerly and westerly generally along the western and northern sides of the said road to the south-western boundary of the Weber County as hereinbefore described; thence south-easterly, northerly, and north-westerly generally along the south-western, eastern, and northern boundaries of the said county to the point of commencement. As the said area is shown edged blue on the plan marked S.H.D. 379 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.

(c) All that area in the Waipawa County described in the Second Schedule to this Proclamation.
