ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, City of Napier, bounded by a line commencing at the easternmost corner of Lot 12 on plan numbered 6257, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of the said Lot 12, across Geddis Avenue, along the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 25 and 46 on the said plan numbered 6257, across Bannard Avenue, and along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 45 on the said plan numbered 6257 to the southernmost corner of the said Lot 45; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundaries of Lots 45, 44, 42, 40, and 36 on the said plan numbered 6257 to a public road (Ellison Street Extension); thence south-westerly along the south-eastern side of the said road to the eastern side of Riverbend Road; thence southerly along that roadside to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Lot 1 on plan numbered 493, deposited as aforesaid; thence north-westerly across Riverbend Road to and along that boundary and its production to the centre of Meeanee Drain; thence again north-westerly along the centre of the said Meeanee Drain to the southern-most corner of Lot 7 on plan numbered 7382, deposited as aforesaid; thence north-easterly along a right line parallel with Kennedy Road to the south-western boundary of Lot 37 on plan numbered 4219, deposited as aforesaid, and along the south-western and north-western boundaries of the said Lot 37 to the south-western side of Riverbend Road; thence north-westerly generally along that roadside to the south-eastern side of the Napier-Hastings via Fernhill Main Highway; thence north-easterly along that roadside to the north-eastern side of Riverbend Road; thence south-easterly generally along that roadside to the northern boundary of Lot 1 on plan numbered 4219, deposited as aforesaid; thence north-easterly and southerly generally along the northern and eastern boundaries of the said Lot 1 and the eastern boundaries of Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 on the said plan numbered 4219 to the south-eastern side of Riverbend Road; thence southerly generally along that roadside and the north-eastern side of Geddis Avenue to the north-western boundary of Lot 1 on plan numbered 6257, deposited as aforesaid; thence north-easterly along that boundary and south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 13, 5, 6, 7, 8, 47, 9, 10, 11, and 12 on the said plan numbered 6257 to the easternmost corner of the last-mentioned Lot 12, being the point of commencement.

ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, City of Napier, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the mean high-water mark of the ocean in line with the southern boundary of Town Section 757, Napier; thence westerly to and along that boundary and the southern boundaries of Town Sections 711 and 633, Napier, to and across Marine Parade and to and along the northern side of Ellison Street to the western side of the Wellington-Napier Railway; thence southerly across Ellison Street to and along the western side of the said railway to a point in line with the northern boundary of Lot 10 on plan numbered 6396, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier; thence westerly through Suburban Section 657, Napier, and across Te Awa Avenue to and along the northern boundaries of the said Lot 10 and of Lot 9 on the said plan numbered 6396 to the eastern side of a drain, as shown on the said plan numbered 6396; thence northerly along that side of the drain and the eastern boundaries of Lots 5 and 4 on the said plan numbered 6396 to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned Lot 4; thence north-westerly generally along the north-eastern boundaries of the said Lot 4 to the south-eastern side of Chambers Street; thence north-easterly generally along that roadside to the north-western corner of Lot 2 on plan numbered 6926, deposited as aforesaid; thence westerly across Chambers Street to and along the southern boundary of Lot 55 on plan numbered 4488, deposited as aforesaid; to the south-western corner of the said Lot 55; thence northerly generally along the western boundary of the said Lot 55 to the south-western side of Georges Drive; thence north-westerly along that roadside to the southern corner of Lot 105 on plan numbered 7201, deposited as aforesaid, being also a point on the north-eastern boundary of Lot 66 on the said plan numbered 7201; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundaries of the said Lot 66 and of Lot 106 on the said plan numbered 7201, across Sanders Avenue and along the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 107 and 25 on the said plan numbered 7201 to the southern side of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway; thence westerly along that railway side to the south-eastern side of the Napier-Hastings via Fernhill Main Highway; thence north-easterly along that roadside to the north-western corner of Lot 46 on the plan numbered 5290, deposited as aforesaid; thence westerly generally along a right line to the south-eastern corner of Town Section 701R, Napier, along the southern boundary of that section to the southern side of Hyderabad Road, along that roadside to its junction with the Napier-Ahuriri Railway, and along a right line to the south-eastern corner of Town Section 722, Napier; thence northerly generally along the western boundary of the said Section 722 to the Napier-Ahuriri Railway, across that railway along a right line bearing 346° 06' to its eastern side, along that side to its junction with the western boundary of Town Section 721, Napier, and again across the Napier-Ahuriri Railway along a line as
delineated on plan numbered 1175, green, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Napier, to the western side of the said railway; thence again northerly generally along the said western side to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 1 on plan numbered 6339, deposited as aforesaid; thence north-easterly to and along that boundary to the western side of West Quay; thence again north-easterly along the said western side of West Quay and its production to the line of mean high-water mark of the Inner Harbour and along that mark to a point at which the eastern mole crosses the mean high-water mark of the ocean; thence easterly and southerly along the mean high-water mark of the ocean to the point of commencement.
Also all that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, City of Napier, bounded by a line commencing at a point at which the western mole at the entrance to Port Ahuriri crosses the mean high-water mark of the ocean in Section 664, Town of Napier; thence south-westerly along the mean high-water mark of the Inner Harbour to its intersection with the southern side of Meeanee Quay; thence generally westerly along the southern side of Meeanee Quay, the southern and western boundaries of Lots 1, 2, 4, and 5 on Deeds Plan numbered 211, lodged in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier, the western boundary of a Maori reserve, and the south-western side of Meeanee Quay to the south-eastern corner of Lot 2 on the plan numbered 6408, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier; thence westerly along the southern boundary of the said Lot 2 on the said plan numbered 6408 to its intersection with the eastern side of the Gisborne-Napier via Hangaroa State Highway; thence northerly along the eastern side of the Gisborne-Napier via Hangaroa State Highway to the northernmost corner of the aforementioned Lot 2; thence by a right line across Meeanee Quay to the southernmost corner of Lot 1 on the plan numbered 2531, deposited as aforesaid; thence along the eastern side of the Gisborne-Napier via Hangaroa State Highway to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 253, Town of Westshore; thence by a right line across a railway reserve to and along the northern boundary of the said Section 253, and that line produced to the mean high-water mark of the ocean, and thence south-easterly along the mean high-water mark of the ocean to the point of commencement.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—County of Stratford
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, approval has been granted to the Stratford County Council to include in its district scheme, as described in Gazette, No. 79, 21 December 1955, page 2026, the following additional section:
(3) The Whangamomona section (being the Whangamomona Riding, formerly the Whangamomona County) described in the following Schedule:
SCHEDULE
STRATFORD COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME, WHANGAMOMONA SECTION
ALL that area in the Stratford County, Taranaki Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of Section 2, Block XVI, Upper Waitara Survey District, and proceeding northerly, easterly, and southerly along the boundary of the County of Stratford, as described in Gazette, No. 7, 9 February 1956, page 158, to Trig. Station Whakaihuwaka on Mount Humphries; thence westerly and northerly along the north-eastern boundary of the Stratford County district scheme rural section, as described in Gazette, No. 79, 21 December 1955, page 2026, to the point of commencement.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations, so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors, shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.
