Land Taken for Police Purposes (Residence) in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for police purposes (residence); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 23rd day of July 1956.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of piece of land taken: 1 rood 25·5 perches.
Being Lot 117, D.P. 2182, being part Section 6, Kaiwarra District. All certificate of title, Volume 469, folio 14, Wellington Land Registry.
Situated in the City of Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of July 1956.

Land and an Easement Over Land Taken for State Housing Purposes in the City of Palmerston North

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for State housing purposes; and I also hereby proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken for State housing purposes over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, cleanse, repair, and maintain a line of stormwater pipes and sewer pipes under, along, or over the said land and to convey stormwater and sewage through the said pipes, such easement to be held appurtenant to the land described in the said First Schedule; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 23rd day of July 1956.

FIRST SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 acres 1 rood 25·26 perches.
Being part Lots 147 and 148, D.P. 791, being part Hokowhitu 4 and 5; coloured blue.

SECOND SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land over which an easement is taken:
