Authorising the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric Power Board to Erect and Use Electric Lines Within Part of the Waimarino County

At the Government House at Wellington this 11th day of July 1956
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric Power Board (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use electric lines within the area of supply described in the Schedule hereto; and further, for the purpose of section 76 of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, subject to the said conditions, hereby authorises the licensee to construct electric works within the said area of supply.

CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
- The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
SYSTEMS OF SUPPLY
- The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a) and (f) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
DURATION OF LICENCE
- This licence shall, unless sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 24th day of October 1964.

ALL that portion of the Waimarino County included in the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric Power District by the Proclamation dated the 3rd day of May 1956, and published in the Gazette on the 10th day of the same month, at page 613.

Revoking a Previous Order in Council and Reapportioning Representation on the North Auckland Electric Power Board

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 11th day of July 1956
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes, as from the date of the next general election of the representatives of the constituent districts of the North Auckland Electric Power District, the Order in Council dated the 20th day of July 1949, and published in the Gazette on the 4th day of August 1949, at page 1626, apportioning representation on the North Auckland Electric Power Board, and hereby determines in lieu thereof that on and after the said date the number of representatives of each constituent district on the said Board shall be the number specified in the Schedule hereto opposite the name of that constituent district; and further determines that the constituent districts which are bracketed together in the first column of the Schedule hereto are hereby constituted combined districts for the purposes of the said Act, and that the local authorities of the constituent districts distinguished in the first column of the Schedule hereto by the letter “(P)” shall be the principal local authorities of such combined districts respectively; and further determines that the first election of the representatives of the combined district of the Whangarei County and the Onerahi Town District shall be held on the date of the said next general election.

PURSUANT to the Rotorua Borough Reclamation Empowering Act 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby vests the land described in the Schedule hereto in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Rotorua, in trust, for recreation purposes.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes as from the 1st day of April 1956, the Order in Council of the 23rd day of November 1953, published in the Gazette, 3 December 1953, Vol. III, page 1952, licensing the Whangamata Boating Club (Incorporated) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark in Whangamata Harbour as shown on plan marked M.D. 9512 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a slipway thereon.
