HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the resolution passed by the Lyttelton Borough Council on the 20th day of February 1956 and set out in the First Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the side and portion of street described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
THE Lyttelton Borough Council being the local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of Lyttelton by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to the south-eastern side of Ticehurst Terrace adjoining the northern boundary of all that piece of land situated in the Borough of Lyttelton comprising one rood thirty-five perches (1 r. 35 p.), more or less, being part of Rural Section 40 and being the whole of the land in certificate of title, Volume 204, folio 31 (Canterbury Registry).
SECOND SCHEDULE
THE south-eastern side of all that portion of street in the Canterbury Land District, Borough of Lyttelton, known as Ticehurst Terrace, fronting part Lot 8, D.P. 628, being part Rural Section 40.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 150365 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Pursuant to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the resolution passed by the Lyttelton Borough Council on the 5th day of March 1956 and set out in the First Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the side of street described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
THE Lyttelton Borough Council being the local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of Lyttelton by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to the northern side of Ross Parade adjoining the southern boundary of all that piece of land situated in the Borough of Lyttelton comprising two acres one rood fourteen and nine-tenths perches (2 a. 1 r. 14Β·9 p.), more or less, being part of Rural Section 40 and being the whole of the land in certificates of title, Volume 474, folio 248, Volume 400, folio 227, and Volume 444, folio 218 (Canterbury Registry).
SECOND SCHEDULE
THE northern side of all that street in the Canterbury Land District, Borough of Lyttelton, known as Ross Parade, fronting Lot 5, D.P. 10620, Lot 1, D.P. 11844 (parts Rural Section 40), and other part Rural Section 40.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 150366 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land permitted to be taken: 2 acres 1 rood 33Β·9 perches.
Being part Section 5, Levin Village Settlement.
Situated in Block I, Waiopenu Survey District, Borough of Levin. (S.O. 23383.)

The Taieri Ridge Rabbit District Order 1956 (Notice No. Ag. 6127)

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Taieri Ridge Rabbit District Order 1956.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
- The boundaries of the Taieri Ridge Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 15th day of September 1948,* are hereby altered and redefined; and as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE TAIERI RIDGE RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the counties of Taieri and Waihemo, of the Otago Land District, containing 93,000 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of Section 16, Block III, Rock and Pillar Survey District; thence generally easterly along the northern boundaries of Sections 16, Block III, and 3, Block IV, Rock and Pillar Survey District, and Section 2, Block IV, Highlay Survey District, to and across Matheson Road; thence generally south-easterly and south-westerly along the eastern side of Matheson Road, Highlay Road, and Matheson Road to the Hyde-Macraes road; thence south-westerly along the eastern side of Scorgie Road to the northernmost corner of Section 14, Block I, Budle Survey District; thence generally south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of Sections 14, 26, 15, and 16, Block I, Budle Survey District, and along the eastern side of a roadline through Section 1, Block III, Strath-Taieri Survey District, and along the western boundaries of Sections 18, 1, and 2, Block VII, Strath-Taieri Survey District, to the south-western corner of Section 2 aforesaid; thence easterly along the northern boundaries of Sections 3 and 14, Block VII, Strath-Taieri Survey District, to and across a road; thence generally southerly along the western boundaries of Sections 17, 16, 24, 15, 14, Block VI, Budle Survey District, and Sections 2 and 1, Block I, Hummock Survey District; thence generally south-easterly and south-westerly along the northern, eastern, and south-eastern boundaries of Section 4, Block I, aforesaid, to its southernmost crossing of the Nenthorn Stream; thence generally south-easterly and south-westerly along the centre of that stream to its confluence with the Taieri River; thence generally north-westerly and north-easterly along the centre of that river, to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 16, Block III, Rock and Pillar Survey District; thence north-easterly to the point of commencement.
