Declaring Land, Taranaki County, Taranaki Land District, in the Taranaki Acclimatisation District, to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

PART Section 486 (D.P. 591), and Sections 485, 485A, and 485B, Grey District, situated in Blocks V and IX, Paritutu Survey District: Area, 99 acres 2 roods 15 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 85, folio 209 (Taranaki Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked I.A. 52/302 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 26th day of June 1956.

Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes at Ava to the Purposes of a Street

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a street; and that the said street shall be under the control of the Petone Borough Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

Investment of £13,000 of the Taranaki Harbour Board's Funds

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 27th day of June 1956

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 53 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Taranaki Harbour Board to invest the sum of £13,000 from its Depreciation Reserve Fund in debentures of the Napier Harbour Board Harbour Works Loan 1955, to bear interest at 4¼ per cent per annum and to mature on the 1st day of September 1965.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access way described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Hastings, and be under the control and management of the Hastings Borough Council.

APPROXIMATE area of the access way dealt with: 7·7 perches.
Being Lot 2, D.P. 9303, part Heretaunga Block. Part certificate of title, H.B. Volume 63, folio 297, Hawke’s Bay Land Registry.
