A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto is hereby closed for defence purposes.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 3 acres 3 roods 33·6 perches.
Adjoining Section 45, Block XV, Rangitoto Survey District, part Rural Section 12, Township of Sandon, Lot 2, D.P. 4423, being part Section 63, also land in Proclamation 2567, Wellington Land Registry, being Section 62 and Lot 1, D.P. 4423, being part Section 63, Block XV, Rangitoto Survey District (Ohakea Settlement).
Situated in Block XV, Rangitoto Survey District. (S.O. 20977.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 116353 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Declaring Land in a Roadway Laid Out in Block XVI, Puniu Survey District, Otorohanga County, to be Road

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, and comprised in a roadway laid out by the Maori Land Court by an order dated the 16th day of February 1954, to be road.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be road: 9·5 perches.
Being part Wharepuhunga 9A 2 Block.
Situated in Block XVI, Puniu Survey District, Auckland R.D. (M.L. 17126.)

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of Portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 11th day of August 1925 and published in Gazette, 13 August 1925, Volume II, page 2409, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 1544, defining the middle line of a portion of the Wellington-Napier railway in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land affected: 2 acres 1 rood 31·43 perches.
Being Lot 20, D.P. 17691, being part Sections 59 and 61, Hutt District. Part certificates of title, Volume 348, folio 88, and Volume 578, folio 40, Wellington Land Registry.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 10th day of December 1924 and published in Gazette, 11 December 1924, Volume III, page 2898, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 1482, and the Proclamation dated the 11th day of August 1925 and published in Gazette, 13 August 1925, Volume II, page 2409, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 1544, defining the middle line of portions of the Wellington-Napier railway in so far as they affect the land described in the Schedule hereto.

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of the said Act.
SCHEDULE
SUBDIVISIONS A and B of Section 5, Block VII, and Subdivisions C and D of Section 5, Block VIII (Tutanganui Block), and part Sections 2, 3, and 4 (D.P. 1571), Block VII, and Section 3, Block VIII, Waitara Survey District. Area: 836 acres 3 roods 20 perches, more or less. All certificates of title, Volume 169, folio 25, Volume 193, folio 43, and all the land in the West Coast Settlement Reserve Leases recorded in Volume 142, folio 81, and Volume 186, folio 30 (Taranaki Registry).
