Land Taken for Street in the Borough of Carterton

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Carterton as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 2nd day of July 1956.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 6·06 perches.
Being part Section 207, Taratahi Plain Block; coloured blue.
Situated in Block X, Tiffin Survey District, Borough of Carterton. (S.O. 21627.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 129583 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 21st day of June 1956.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (5) of section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land, being closed street, described in the First Schedule hereto, to be added to the land held for a technical school described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of closed street: 2 roods 31·1 perches.

Adjoining or passing through part Rural Sections 1346, 1347, and 1978, and being all the land in Proclamation No. 884, Westland Land Registry.

SECOND SCHEDULE

LAND HELD FOR A TECHNICAL SCHOOL

ALL that area in the Borough of Greymouth, Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 31 acres 3 roods 4·6 perches, more or less, and being all the land in Proclamation No. 880, Westland Land Registry.
