PROPERTY TRUSTS ACT 1956"
NOTICE is hereby given that the District Grand Lodge of
the District of New Zealand North under the Grand
Lodge of Ancient, Free, and Accepted Masons of Scotland,
the District Grand Lodge of the District of New Zealand
South under the said Grand Lodge, the District Grand Lodge
of the District of Otago and Southland under the United
Grand Lodge of Ancient, Free, and Accepted Masons of
England, and the Lodges subject to such District Grand
Lodges, the District Grand Royal Arch Chapter of New
Zealand (North Island) under the Supreme Grand Royal
Arch Chapter of Royal Arch Freemasons of Scotland, the
District Grand Royal Arch Chapter of New Zealand (South
Island) under the said Supreme Grand Royal Arch Chapter,
and the Royal Arch Chapters subject to such District Grand
Royal Arch Chapters, intend to apply for leave to bring into
the House of Representatives at the ensuing session a private
Bill, the short title of which is as above.
The object of the proposed Bill is to provide for the holding
of real and personal property by Trustees on behalf of the
above-mentioned District Grand Lodges and District Grand
Royal Arch Chapters (hereinafter called “the Controlling
Authorities”) and the Lodges and Royal Arch Chapters sub-
ject to such Controlling Authorities, and to provide for the
succession of title thereto. The Bill is promoted by the
Controlling Authorities whose address for service is at the
offices of Messrs Reid, Rutherford, and Sumpter, Solicitors,
Union Street, Milton.
A copy of the proposed Bill may be inspected at the above
address.

NOTICE is hereby given that “Florida Milk Bar Limited”
has changed its name to “Harlequin Coffee Shop
Limited”, and that the new name was this day entered on my
Register of Companies in place of the former name.

   RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
   Streets Loan 1955
   IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
   behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the North-
   cote Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
   “That, for the purpose of providing the interest, repayment,
   and other charges on a loan of one hundred and fifteen
   thousand pounds (£115,000), authorised to be raised by the
   Northcote Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act,
   to be known as the Northcote Borough Council Streets
   Loan 1955, for the purpose of constructing streets and foot-
   paths, the said Northcote Borough Council hereby makes and
   levies a special rate of three and one-half pence (3½d.) in
   the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved
   value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Northcote;
   and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
   during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on
   the 7th day of August in each and every year during the
   currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years or
   until the loan is fully paid off.”

   RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
   IN pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the
   Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Raupo Drainage Board
   hereby resolves as follows:
   “That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
   charges on a loan of £5,500, authorised to be raised by the
   Raupo Drainage Board under the above-mentioned Act for
   the purpose of purchasing a dragline and truck, the said
   Raupo Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special
   rate of eleven-sixteenths of a penny in the pound on the
   unimproved value of all rateable property in the Board’s area;
   and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
   during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on
   the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency
   of such loan, being a period of seven years, or until the loan
   is fully paid off.”

   NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
   PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby
   given that the Corporation of the Mayor, Councillors,
   and Burgesses of the Borough of Te Puke intends to take, for
   yards for the storage of vehicles and plant owned by the
   Te Puke Borough Council, the following lands:
   a. All that parcel of land situate in the Land District of
   South Auckland and in the Borough of Te Puke containing
   32 perches, more or less, being Section 9 of Block I of the
   Village of Atuaroa, and being the whole of the land in certificate of title, Volume 23, folio 222, Auckland Registry.
   b. All that parcel of land situate in the Land District of
   South Auckland and in the Borough of Te Puke, being Lot
   14, Deposited Plan 286, and part Lot 1, Deposited Plan 13762,
   being portion of Section 20 of Block II of the Maketu Survey
   District, and being the whole of the land in certificate of title,
   Volume 446, folio 31, Auckland Registry, subject to the
   right of way over part of Lot 14, Deposited Plan 286, created
   by transfer No. 147933.
   The plan of the said lands is deposited at the office of the
   Te Puke Borough Council and is there open for inspection by
   all persons at all reasonable hours. All persons affected are
   hereby requested and called upon to set forth any well
   grounded objections to the taking of such land and to send
   such objections in writing, within forty days from the first
   publication of this notice, to the Te Puke Borough Council
   at its office in Jellicoe Street, Te Puke.
